Which knives do you own that you really like but feel they are underrated? I have said several times that my Crkt M16-14 Special Forces is an excellent knife http://www.crkt.com/M16-14-Special-Forces-Black-Tanto-AutoLAWKS-Combo-Edge It's a big, solid, and strong folder with a strong lock. The flipper acts as a full guard when deployed so even if the lock did fail it wouldn't be able to close on your fingers right away. I have stabbed it into wood along with my coldsteel spartan and it held up to the same stabbings. These weren't light or even medium stabs these were done with bad intentions.I even thickly wrapped cloth around my hand just in case. I was able to stab it maybe 3/4'" into the wood several times and there was no damage to the tip ,lock and there was no bladeplay. It's my edc currently. Some people may not like that it has a chisel grind but I assure you that if it's sharp it will be fine.

Here it is for a lot less DO NOT DEALSPOT.

I buy what I like and what I like tends to be what everyone else likes however I’ve always thought that the Kershaw Lahar was under rated or at least often over looked. VG-10, G-10, flipper, good design and a great price…what’s not to like?

Two knives I have which are almost never mentioned are CRKT M21 and Kershaw Whirlwind. No highly rated steel, but to me they are keepers.

I have about 15 Case knives of various types, and although many people consider them old fashioned and definitely not "tacticool", they are all excellent quality and very collectable.

I picked up a Buck Vantage line -select [least $$ of the ]

It was in case and last one , I bought it. One reason was it was centered and smooth. The price was ridiculous $29 & I got 10% off for display pc.

I EDC this one and find it great size and cutting ability .
Hoping to find an Avid & Pro centered as nicely

Agreed. The Lahar is an amazing knife for the money. I'll also toss in the Cold Steel Voyager series, as well made, comfortable and very strong.

How about Buck model 182 Odyssey ,ATS-34 steel and G-10 scales, unfortunately lost 10 years ago, still

I think the current Queen slip joints with D2 steel should receive more attention.

Also figure the Al Mar Ultra Lites are perfect in a white collar environment and deserving of much more attention.

Probably the Benchmade 943 or Kershaw Shallot for me. The 943 always gets overshadowed by the 940, but I think the thin 943 clip point is more in line with the gentleman's folder-type handle. A lot of people don't like the Shallot because it's not grippy, but then most of those people love titanium framelocks. Also the steel is good, the edge geometry slices well, it's well made, is thin and doesn't rip up your pocket, has an excellent warranty, and has good ergos. At its street price of $30, I think it's an incredible value.

I like the Cold Steel Voyager a lot too. Great knife for the money. I also like my SOG Spec Elite - a knife that doesn't seem to get any love on the forums.

Probably the Benchmade Vex series. Then, maybe the Buck Vantage Pro (because of the S30V)
