Unhappy with Zero Tolerance customer service

Hi guys! I have to say this has been an interesting read so far. First I would like to state that I have never had such a problem with any of my knives nor knife manufacturers because I never had to order parts from any of them before, that being said as a watch collector myself in the past I have tried to order certain parts from certain companies and I have been turned down before by those companies and the reason I have been given by them was that to ensure quality and quality control of the watch they wanted to do the servicing themselves rather than me or my watchSmith doing it so I have understood their point of view and I entrusted their judgment on that part And before anyone comes to think , all the services I had required they were free so they didn't charge me a penny to do my work so anyway long story short I think zero tolerance was looking at the problem the same way a precision watch company was looking at their service issues and which seems like an exceptional work attic to me, At least that's what I think.

I seem to be with the crowd on this one. Ship it insured. Print ZT warranty paper, tell them you do not want it sharpen. Use another knife from your $5,000+ collection and move on.

Or truly don't buy another knife from the company who has offered to fix your knife for free; because you lost a part while taking it apart.

ZT isn't Burger King, they do it THEIR way.

Looking for trouble where there is none will bring Mr. Murphy to the party in a heartbeat. I would send the knife in, just provide detailed instructions.

It's rather nice, seeing long time member's like yourself, weigh in here. I'm sure that you have seen it all (& then some), during the past nearly 10 years.

I haven't been around here long enough to know, who exactly, Mr. Murphy is. Would you please care to elaborate, ore should we wait around & see if he indeed decides it's time to crash this late night party?

I'm actually surprised, that the OP hasn't already closed this thread up...

Entitled? I asked to purchase parts, what makes me appear entitled about that? I guess if someone were to want to purchase repair parts for their car they would appear entitled? Your the embarrassment sir.

Once again a good company offers replacement parts (for sale) for its products.

ZT told you what they were willing to do for you. It's your choice how to proceed. Let a mod know if you have any additional information and one of us can open this thread back up.
