Upcoming surgery and the Fall Beckerhead Gathering

I found out this last week that I have a non cancerous polyp in my gut that will have to be removed through the abdominal wall........ The procedure is straight forward and the outcome is very likely to be good......

I will be very limited for a bit in my ability to lift, etc......

Before I got the news I had started to contact the regulars about the Fall Gathering ....... I think it prudent to limit the group to those I have already contacted........

I am really sorry about this...... I enjoy these get togethers a lot..... More and more each time, actually....

x2 on the glad it's not cancerous. Take care of yourself after the surgery. Don't rush your recovery and blow a stitch. That's no fun at all.
 
I've never had the opportunity to meet you in person Ethan, but the way that you have communicated yourself, and the community you have helped build up here speaks volumes of your character.

Glad to hear it is not cancerous. My brother just went through a similar scare.

Heal well and quickly sir...and do whatever seems best for you about a gathering. Tell us how we can help or what you may need. Like someone said, there can be other gatherings if this one needs to be cancelled or delayed.
