Delighted to hear the positive news!! Just my 2 cents, for whatever it might be worth, a smaller gathering could work "centered on the shop" and the fire pit behind the house.
 
Crap, I went out and bought a Jeep so I can drive up Becker Mountain!

We are gonna be pretty house and shop oriented..... The range and overhead will certainly be open but, Bring a cot...... We will clear out the sheds attached to the shop and there is room to spare if we utilise all the porches......

hi ethan and gang glad you are doing well i havent been on much as of late busy at work and some health issues as well. hope you recover post haste sir!
 
Glad to hear you are doing better Ethan. Hate you had to go through it. If you need anything let me know, I am just down the road. Hope everything else is doing well, we are dealing with failed contract negotiations with the union at work and may be dealing with a strike..... Times aren't good for that at all.

As usual, my plans and state of readiness are somewhat unclear at the moment... I will be there sometime between 6 or 7PM tonight and beer o'clock tomorrow... probably. :p
 
a good time was had -- I think we forged, ground, heat treated and put handles on 5 or 6 knives.
I need a nap, now!
