Upcoming surgery and the Fall Beckerhead Gathering

Hey Everybody......

Been home since Wednesday afternoon........ I am damn close to pain free, starting to eat real food and getting mobile...... No plans for twenty mile forced hike with full pack just yet...LOL......... Pretty stringent weight restrictions for two months..... But that is pretty much it....... That long cosmic sigh you are hearing is my sigh of relief.........

Once again...... Thank you all for your prayers and your well wishes....... They mean more to me than you know.....

Glad you are doing so well. Keep healing up so you can get back to the 20 milers. ;)

The Doc was just by and after a bit of a scare about a possible obstruction earlier today, he said all is well, the biopsies all came back clean and YAY I get to go home tomorrow morning YAY!!!!!!!!!!!.........

We'll save the 20 mile hump for when I get there. Hell, I even have a pack you can borrow boss.

Well, I am one week and one day out from under the knife...... The old GI tract seems to be back in production with minimal start up difficulties...... Crenshaw (HSO) and Gwen dropped in for a nice visit, the weather has been spectacular and I am about to head for the veranda and do an imitation of an old Walker hound lolling in the warm afternoon sun.....

are you going to be able to run up the hill on the kubota in 2 weeks, or will this gathering happen centered on the shop?
