UPDATE: Couldn't Resist - Case Backpocket

Gave into temptation (not the first time) and ordered a BP in Deep Canyon Dark Red Bone. A vendor who not only had a nice sale going on but also kindly offered to hand pick one with darker bone did the trick.

If the bone color is still too light, maybe I'll try my first RIT dye job.

Love the design, would like to own one. The 154CM version would be EXCELLENT!
Edit to add, the chestnut CV in post 51 is just beautiful!

WOW Ron, BEAUTIFUL red bone back pocket and CV to boot!!!:thumbup:

Yes Ron....The BP is raising my BP! Super nice covers on that one! I have mine right here....ahhhhh

Great shot of a really nice-looking knife! I had the fever last week and camethisclose to pulling the trigger on one. CV chestnut BPs are not too common but I tracked down one dealer that has them in stock.

But then I got to thinking that maybe I'd find it too big for EDC. So I went in the complete opposite direction and ordered a CV chestnut.... peanut. I may revisit the BP notion someday.

Phil, Paul, Gev and major_works - Thank you for the compliments, there are all appreciated! :D

Great looking BP. It's a really nice knife. Here's mine in Chestnut and CV. Hope
you don't mind? I saw where a few guys where talking about Chestnut and CV.

Jason sold that knife to me. It's in the very first post of the modified production knives thread. Kerry Hampton reground and acid etched and blued the blade. Extremely sharp knife.

Kerry does excellent work. Here's another one that he also reground, etched and blued.

Shown here with a few others with factory grinds...

Testing the sharpness ;)
