Thanks Jordan! I did receive your emails yesterday. Crazy day and I didn’t have time to do anything but put out fires at work. I had no doubt that DLT would provide anything other than outstanding customer service. I’m still a little salty about my experience with Hinderer, so I haven’t completely decided exactly what I want to do yet. I’ll contact you later on how I want to proceed.
Just emailed you Jordan, let me know when you can help me out.Sounds good, if we can be of any assistance don't hesitate to reach out.
That's not good, especially being your first impression of a Hinderer knife. I've never had that problem with mine. I literally just opened and closed my Full Track 100 times and it didn't happen once. Hopefully you will get this sorted out. Being that you ordered from DLT, I'm sure they will make it right for you. Let us know what happens.Welp, count me in on the Full Track Lock Stick club.
Got mine today and out of the box for the first 15-20 flips, it was great.
Awesome even. Perfect detent - perfect action.
But, I’m getting some pretty mean lock stick too now. 2 out of 3 flips requires a 2 handed unlock. Definitely worsening.
Never experienced it this bad. Had some minor lock stick on a few kershaw cheapies (like $25-$30 China specials) never on any ZT I’ve had. This $600 knife has it bad after 20 flips.
So, guess I’ll be calling DLT? I’d say that’s 2 for 2 in this thread.
I think Rick’s got a geometry issue going on with these. Bummer.
All I know is I’m not getting stuck with it.
Geometry issue? Definitely on a couple but not mail stream. Every manufacturer has its day. Nobody is perfect.Welp, count me in on the Full Track Lock Stick club.

I ordered a Fulltrack from DLT when the first run released, and it had horrible lock stick as well. I was extremely disappointed for the price point. I remembered someone mentioning once that pencil lead(graphite)was a common cure for lock stick. So I took a pencil and colored the blade where the lock engages against it and the lock stick was instantly cured! It hasn't returned since, and my blade also suffered from horrible lock stick before this. I highly recommend trying this before returning the knife, if you love the knife and the lock stick is your only issue with it. If you decide to return it, I have no doubt that DLT will take care of you. I buy almost all my knives from them and they are top notch
Now what to do about my stand off screw that mysteriously fell out and is lost.![]()
I put a lot of graphite all over the lock face with a pencil in my video and it did nothing. I’ve had it work before, but it sure didn’t work on this Hinderer.I ordered a Fulltrack from DLT when the first run released, and it had horrible lock stick as well.
