Doctor called today, I have cancer in my esophagus. I go next week to see if it’s small enough to surgically remove. Please, no one call me, I’m not in the mood to talk about it right now. Keep my family and me in your prayers.

Appointment went well (I think). Doctor did the scope with ultrasound to see how large the tumor was and if it had spread. It seems to be confined to the esophagus. He cut the affected part out and thinks he got it all. He sent it for a biopsy to see if a specialist needs to do major surgery to remove more and part of my stomach.
