Ask the oncologist if immunotherapy is an option for what you are fighting. It has been working for me.

Mine started in my kidney. They removed the kidney and sent me through about 4 months of chemo. Within 3 months it was back in my lung. After getting through some complications I got started on immunotherapy. It was a little slow responding initially, but I have had 4 clean scans in a row now, and expect the next one in a couple weeks will be clean also. I have been getting a CT scan every 3 months. Treatment every 3 weeks.

Every time I scroll past this forum, I say a prayer for you. Hang in there. You can get though this.

Saw the surgeon yesterday. 7-10 days in the hospital (if no complications), with a 20%-30% chance of complications. I go for a pulmonary function test Friday at 6:45 am and to the oncologist for a special CT scan on Friday at noon.

I haven't been posting much here but I still check in regular and still praying.

Just got the results from the petscan yesterday, the cancer is not showing up, so I have to make an appointment for another upper endoscopy to get another look. I will also be starting four weeks of B12 shots and Iron IV treatments for the Iron Deficiency Anemia.
