Dang. I'm out, unless the steel changes. Sounds like this is the version most everybody was asking for. How about the grind?
 
This is sounding better price-wise for sure. Do we have any concrete details on the pocket clip and blade finish yet?
 
Can't wait! Will there be a sign up thread of something for these later on? Being new to the forums I have never participated in a forum knife buy like this but I would defiantly love to get my hands on one!

A blue glow in the dark g10 handle sure would be pretty cool also!
 
Yes on stonewashed, I have asked on deep pocket clips and haven't heard back. Will follow up. I CANNOT GUARANTEE A DEEP POCKET CLIP as that may require reengineering on their part and would thereby drive up the cost.
 
Blue G10 with S30V sounds great to me! CF would add too much to the cost. Is the blade going to be FFG? I would rather have FFG instead of the deep pocket clip. Has the clip color been discussed? I vote for a black clip...
 
At $90 in stonewashed S30V and some non-ugly G10 I'd be in for at least 3 of them just to keep for myself. One for the pocket, one for the collection/display/safe, one for backup. Hell Yeah! Thank you Thomas!
 
Do all 500 have to be the same? Any one who will pay for it can say now be put on a list have a total, the rest be blue or is that to complicated? I would buy a carbon fiber one. If they carbon gets dropped I will still buy a blue one.

Question: Is the $90 the final price if we get all the pre-orders filled, or will it still go down a bit?
 
SW S30V, regular grind, blue G10 and regular pocket clip are all I need. Regardless, I'm in for at least 1.

Will there be something to identify this as a 2012 BFC Kershaw Sub-Forum knife? Model number with BFC as the suffix and born-on date would work for me.
 
If it's a non-deep clip, I'm gonna try my best to scrape together the funds to buy two of these. Thanks, Spark, for doing this!
 
I was hoping to see multiple choices and prices on the steel and we could agree as a group which to go with. S30V is too pedestrian for me...I'm out.

Is Elmax not a option? I would rather have Elmax than CF.
 
I'm for at least one, probably two for the blue ones and one of the CF ones if that happens.
