Maybe we are just asking too much,

Would everyone agree to go forward with the best plan as shown: Blue G-10, S30V full flat grind stonewashed (a low rider clip if feasible, from the ZT 0560).

It would be nice to have prices for all our crazy options, but not at the cost of killing this blade forums.com special run.

I have a suggestion,

The way the skylines's line are and frame screws, it might be hard to use the Echelon low rider clip,

Can we get the 560 low rider clip? I think it might work better for tip up and down.

Hopefully that doesn't cheapen the image of the 0560, but I think it is a new great, everybody is happy with it, clip design.

The thumb/spine jimping was just something a lot of people asked for, as much as a low rider clip.

It reminds me of the Tilt, it doesn't have spine jimping.

I don't think jimping was mentioned in the first estimate.
I think they were gonna try for a low rider clip, I vote use the ZT 0560 clip.

You just need to use the same clip as the rj II and echelon I think. Its an awesome low rider clip

No I think the frame screw and lanyard hole placement might not work for tip up. I think that's how most prefer.

The screws on the 0569 clip are vertical instead on horizontal, it think it will work better for both tip up and tip down.

I see the deep carry clip is gaining some ground here, so I'd just like to re-request that if it ends up with one, that we'll still have the option of replacing it with a standard, non-deep carry version.

Its good that it seems most people are agreeing on the way this should be! It should make it come to life quicker and make it easier for Sparkz to make a final decision.

Is this really doable? That would be a home run.

I'm still waiting to hear back from Thomas. They have a lot on their plate, so I ask that everyone remain patient

Okay So Far This Is What I See You Guys Saying:
Blue G-10
Low Rider Clip - Able To Be Carried Tip Up Or Tip Down.
Stone Washed FFG s30v Blade

Am I The Only Person That Think This Would Be Even More Bad Ass If It Was A Titanium Frame Lock? Lol.
BUT Since That Is NOT An Option....

Could We At Least Make It Ti Liners?

Stone Washed Ti Liners....

Could The Clip Be A Ti Low Rider Clip? Or Actually.. I Think You Could Make It A Wire Lowrider Clip For Cheaper.

I think Thomas nixed the frame lock idea, not sure if I remember correctly.

I think Ti liner lock would be cool, but how much would it add to the first estimated cost of $110 per knife.

We all have crazy ideas, we will just have to wait and decide on what the majority wants and is willing to pay for.

The more people agreeing means more pre orders, means lower price when all get sold.

I think the 110 initial price estimate is already about as much as most people are willing to spend if not more than.

We really have to wait and see what other price estimates and options Thomas at Kershaw sends to Spark.

Hello there...I registered for the forum just to reply to this thread. I think S30V with low rider clip is great. 110.00 is a good price point. I'm pretty new here, so when the design is decided, how do we order? I'd be willing to preorder if that makes the run cheaper/more certain.

Thumb jimping would be nice.

Ok, good news bad news time.

Good news: S30V, Blue G10, we have a NEW PRICE: $90 per.

Thomas also got back with me on carbon fiber scales with S30V - $130

Given the complaints about a + $100 price point on this, I'm going to nix the Carbon Fiber, unless there is a sudden unprecedented surge in demand for them.

There is a minimum requirement of 500 pieces for this to be done. Estimated delivery will be 3rd Quarter.

WHAT SAY YOU, BFC?

Spark, would the carbon fiber be polished like the Tilt, or would it be more like Spyderco's offering of carbon fiber on the Paramilitary 2 or Military?

Unknown. I'm guessing it'd be flat carbon fiber.

Good news: S30V, Blue G10, we have a NEW PRICE: $90 per.
WHAT SAY YOU, BFC?

Outstanding -- that should be a real winner!
I'd take two.
I assume you meant to include stonewashed blade and deep-pocket clip in the equation.
