So there's this great thread in the Spyderco forums (https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/the-traveling-spyderco-delica.1420403/) started by
MostMenAreRuthless
where he kindly offered up a delica to travel around and have visits with anyone who wanted to participate. The idea being that when everyone had some time with the knife that they would send it back to MMAR.
Everything was going fine and people were really enjoying the thread until the knife was sent to @wiredbeans (by me after my visit). @wiredbeans received the knife on April 4th, 2017, posts pictures of it for a few days and then disappears without sending the knife along to the next participant. Not only did his disappear from that thread, but he goes completely dark on BladeForums until December when he pops back up and starts posting in the exchange.
When I recently noticed he was active again, I posted a message on his profile (as did others) asking about the knife. I also posted @wiredbeans in the Traveling Spyderco Delica thread. He has not responded to anyone or returned the knife (to my knowledge). He's even been active this evening.
It's not all that valuable of an item, but he soured the thread a bit and has (apparently) kept the knife. I would urge caution when dealing with him.
@wiredbeans...can you please return the knife to MMAR?
