using things on your person

I have a G SHOCK that keeps time to the nanosecond, its Solar Powered and gets regulated from the Atomic Clock at Fort Collins every 4 minutes. With it I can time how long it takes to choke out my dog with his leash then BUSHCRAFT a blanket for him from my tshirt. I would make this in such a way as to make look like a front facing baby cozy. So people on the TRAIL can ask if my baby is OK. To which I can say take a look and scare the bejesus out of them.

I always have a bandana with me and it covers a lot of bases. Triangular bandage, Skull cap, dust mask, head band, water filter, neck protector, cordage, sack, etc.

Cut the tonge out of a boot/shoe and make a sling with the laces.

Best idea yet! I love slinging.

You could use the innards of the ParaCord to sew, fish with, etc., and then put the sheath of the ParaCord, the outer layer, back through your boot's eyelets and use them as laces again - just without the guts in them.

Another good reason to have paracord shoe laces!

I can use my T-shirt to make a ninja hood/mask and use my belt to rappel from the ceiling to covertly de-animate sentries with my Pilot P-500, while focusing the rays of the sun with the lens of my glasses, to burn my name into the sentries' carcass, so my enemies will know whom to fear!

I broke a bootlace (the original equipment) on Sunday, so I did my standard procedure of making new laces with para cord. Not only do you have an emergency supply of 550 cord, but they work better ... they last longer, resist abrasion better, and it's easier to pull them tight.

I have my altoid psk in my left front pocket with me all the time, so I guess I get to cheat on this one :D. With it I'll have 3 ways to start a fire, fishing line with hooks, gauze pad, pill sized "just add water and instant towlett appears" ,and little brush I 'borrowed' from my girlfriend to clean up my knife when it gets too dirty (those little brushes for their eye lashes....works great for getting the stuff inside the knife!).

Besides all of that, I can boil a piece of my leather boot and make a broth inside of my aluminum psk can. While that is boiling, I can fasten together a bow for getting fish with my laces. Then I'll make a booby trap with my belt and strangle an innocent bunny rabbit to death. Once I've eaten my boot strap broth, and failed miserably and getting a fish with my bow, I'll make a moccasin out of the rabbit that I strangled with my leather belt to replace the boot that I had to cut up for the broth!!! :D

Hope this helps, I bought mine at wally world, they never had them before, but they appeared in the camping/hunting section, I guess they were a seasonal thing. Hope they keep them there, J.

The ones at wally world come in an eight pack for 1.00 usd. That comes out to 80 for the 10.00 the website is charging, but then again, you might not be able to find them elsewhere.

Just picked up a pack of those! Haven't tried em yet, though.

They are pretty fun to use, I foolishly showed my family members one by one, so I ended up burning a whole pack just showing everybody what it did. I still have two more of the eight packs, but I want to pick some more up just in case they do turn out to be seasonal items at wally world.

They do work nice though. Very tough material and even when it dries back out, it is just like having a useful piece of cloth. Could be used for medical or camping purposes.

if they have been hydralically squished to the size of a coin how does a few drops of water un-squish'em:confused:...I feel I will hafta call BS on it until somebody uses them and claims the towels worthy-ness !:D

I dunno how they work, just the moisture absorbed causes them to unwind I guess . But they do work out just fine.

Tony - I opened the packaging and tried one out. A few drops of water causs the fibers to swell, making it possible to unroll the towel. I was expecting a paper towel but was pleasantly suprised a rather substantial "cloth" towel of about 7"X10". It is 100% rayon and is a rather coarse weave and a soft texture. It looks like it could stand up to repeated uses. I wish they had individually wrapped them, though.

Thanks FLIX , I guess I owe you now huh ? LOL ! not individually wrapped ,I knew there was a downside......LOL, Thanks again ...TTD

I wish I could show a picture of mine, but at wally world it is in a green package with of course a seethrough plastic with 8 white pills showing. I hope they have them, J.

I saw that guy on TV who does the survival show,.... pee into a shirt to place over his forehead to keep cool in a desert. I could do that,......IF i ever needed to! :(

My cotton tighty-whities could be used for kindling if i was ever out in the woods for a few days,.......doubt i want to keep them after that anyway,..... burning seems appropriate! :D

One of any several of the knives i carry could mandle many wilderness chores,.....from shelter building to making a fishing spear and other items.

Already mentioned buy my shoelaces for a fire starting bow.

....finally,......i could use my car keys to drive just about anywhere to get the hell out of there! :p
