Utilitac II = AWESOME.

It's a joy to use, I can't wait to put more use on it. This knife, I swear is going to start a community. A community I want to be a part of.

I think it's safe to say it already has haha.

Have you seen the other Utilitac thread? About 30 pages of praise, pics, reviews and overall Utilitac discussion.

These blade and scales configurations are a little jinky. You have drop point with square scales, which gives you a 3.5" blade; or the same thing with round scales that gives you a 3.2" blade. Then a tanto blade, which is 3.25" with both square and round scales. Plus coated or uncoated blade. Link.

I have the uncoated tanto square handle on the way (at 3.25"), but foresee a 3.5" drop point in my future.

I have the other grip on mine, and I prefer it over the coffin. But that is the great thing about the Utilitac II: with the different blade grinds (Tanto or not, Serrations or not), coatings, and handle types, there are a bunch of ways to get this knife. I think this is unseen in any other budget folder and represents an unprecedented level of value.

Schrade also has a "specific folder" type, or design, but with different types of handle designs, blade styles (Style, serrations.), and a bunch of different size blades throughout the series: 2.6", 3.4" and 3.7". The SCH300ish series.

Cool. I think Schrade had a rough "hit the ground running" moment when they were bought but they're starting to settle in a little now.

Thank you, bro! They look better after a little use

I actually miss mine looking nice and new. I need to order another one soon. Bent my blade getting about 1.5" deep stab and prying in some significantly hard wood. Love these knives for the cost!

Don't let the mall-ninja look keep you away. These are high quality tools. I am completely satisfied. It's better than the JYDII from Kershaw for a quarter of the price.

Huzzah!!!

Tanto with coffin grip is the way to go!

My edge is beyond shaving sharp, I didn't even have to slide the blade (cutting motion) and it went through 12 inches of cardboard with no effort whatsoever.
