ok deaths head you file work is done. but there is one problem, i gess its not a problem but i thought i would let you know. because i do the file work befor heat treat the inside of the file work goes black when the blade is quentched in oil. i leve the the black finish inside the file work to give contrast to it. but because i added the file work down the frount it does not have the black finish. if this is a big consern to you i could try and find a way to blacken it or i could remove the black from the other file work. but in the end the file work will get an aged look with time any way. just let me know what you think. i was able to get the file work down a little past half way befor it got to hard to file. but now it has good grip for your thumb.
 
JTKnives, I trust your judgement as a talented knife maker. Go ahead and do what you think will make the knife look its best.
 
ya yours is done. you wanted a satin finish right. I consier this around 120 grit on hardened steel and then go over it with a 2000 grit finish. is this what you wanted.
 
yes I did want a satin finish.As for grit finish I'll leave that up to you.Do you accept paypal ?
 
to day i got a scotch bright wheel and that should give your knife a perfect finish. o and about paypal, i dont. i prefer to use money orders.

Also In blade, this isn't a design taken from that credit card knife that you posted. We had that on the original thread. The edge is on the wrong side to suit my needs. This knife is based on the discountued Valor Wallet Knife, hence the name of the thread. Since we have JTknives making the knives for us, we decided to mod it as we like.
 
there have quite a lot of changes from the original desige. lets see we added the pill hole and also droped the edge down to give a deaper finger cutout and also made the cutout not connected to the finger hole. o and we added file work to the spine of the knife, o and onemore think we changed the blade style. Deaths head for got to add the rounding to the pill holl so i did that last night and im just finsihing sanding it to day. ill send it out to day. you should see the new one im making its going to have a hawks bill style blade and will look very nice
