I hope my card along with his mail gets forwarded to him in rehab!

This is VGs daughter again. VG is doing a lot better! He is in HealthSouth rehab center. He has been there for a week today. They are looking at him being home a week from this friday which will be the 10th of December. He wants to come home really bad. He is walking good, all on his own. Hes left hand is still a little behind but nothing we cant get back. It all takes time and I have plenty of it. He is still in pain from working and using his right side more than the left is starting to hurt him. He is having fun with the nurses. They probably want to take his call button away from him. He wanted to see his dog buba so we brought him on Thanksgiving. He is getting better and better every day. I thank everybody for the cards, calls, and prayers I think dad just realized how many of you care. Thank you very much. Happy Holidays to all of you! ( Hopefully the next time it will be dad talking and not me!) :)
Thank You,
Dads little Devil

Alisha, So glad to hear your Dad is doing so well. Send him my very best wishes. There's many here pulling for him.

Moderators: Move this to where it will get more attention as I think Alisha accidentally posted in in the wrong forum!

Go Dave Go!

This is great news. Wonderful way to start the week.

What better use of post #1000 than to say how happy I am to hear that Vampire Gerbil's eyes are continuing to get brighter every day!
I can't imagine better news on my "big" day!!

Alisha, glad to hear your dad's doing better, our thoughts and prayers are still with you all.

Looking forward to hearing from your dad.

That is great news. I was real worried when I got the news first. He's really come a long way. Keep it up Dave...got a lot of catching up to do when your up to it.

Alisha, is there any way to post the phone number for this rehab center? Or, email it to me. I would really like to call and talk to my bud, Dave. Doing a search for HealthSouth rehab centers in Nevada, I came up with a lot of results.

The little undead rodent will be home in time for Christmas! This is great news! Long live the undead rodent!

It is good news to hear that Dave is getting a lot better, and hope that things continue to improve for him. Dave hurry up and get that left hand going so you can type on that computer with both hands. You and your family have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
