Total? You want a total? As a matter of fact, I just got Ren's check today, so this would be the total of the pledges and the unpledges that came in. I know there are others who have stated they are sending money.

Total as of 10/17/86:

$1,913.97

The figure seems odd because it is uneven, but the Paypal charges and the overage on the paypal deposits to compensate for that makes the $$$ not exact.

I have signed VG up for the internet at $12.50 per month - unlimited access. Will try to get him online this Saturday.

$100 was donated by Walking Man to buy VG food and maybe cigarettes. So I will be taking him shoppiing to get some basic food supplies this weekend also. I think he meant the $40 extra, but I'm gonna use the $100 anyway. Obviously we can't do this often, but I think to get him started it would be nice to stock him up.

I am so happy and so proud of what everyone here has done. And you should be darn proud of yourselves.

If anyone has any questions about the $$$ received or where it is being spent, please just let me know. I am keeping proper records.

And on another note...... a one week brand new PLATINUM member PM'd me tonight and he is sending a very generous Paypal donation to the VG Angels Fund, to be used as best needed for His Gerbilness. Speak up and be proud of what you have done and introduce yourself to the Bastids!

I am just overwhelmed by what everyone is doing for the rodent. We are covered for the Visting Angels for this year, with a good cushion for extra time, mileage, etc.

We have VG's ISP costs paid for.

We have money to be used to assist VG in other ways, also.

For those of you who missed my post or didn't read it, or get to read it again, I am driving to Pahrump this Saturday morning to help out Dave. Some of the agenda is as follows:

1. Get his computer set up and working.
2. Get his computer configured for the ISP
3. Get Dave signed back on to BFC.
4. Dave will supervise and I will unpack his boxes (yippee.....:( )
5. Organize Dave's apartment :eek:
6. Figure out what he likes to eat, make a list, and head off to the Wal-Mart Super Center to stock up his kitchen. He needs nutritional food.
7. Clean Dave's apartment if needed (like it won't need it? :confused: )
8. Eat lunch - go out for Dinner.

That is just the initial agenda. I will have to assess the situation when I get there.

Dave and I will have a good time - even if I have to smack him for trying to hump my ankle. But I don't know how good his humper is working.

Contrary to popular belief, I will NOT be staying at Dave's Saturday Night. I have a reservation that I will be keeping at one of the local hotels.

I decided not to wait till payday. There should be 200 in your Paypal account now. Use it however it is most needed. If no one has said it recently thank you for getting this going and actually doing what needs doing. Sending dollars is easy, having to actually do the work those dollars allow is the hard part. Angel’s truly do walk among us and you are one of them.
