This is the 4th time I've been there, love it. NH is awesome too. Wife and i drove through Franconia Notch State Park, and did a hike at "The Basin". Absolutely breath taking area. I didn't get to see the old man of the mountain though. It was after it fell off the side of the mountain. I've actually been through there twice, on the way to Kittery Maine.
If you're ever on your way to Kittery again, let me know - you drove right by my house crossing into ME. Got some world class beer being brewed here on my side of the bridge http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/596/23030 Be more than happy to show you around.
Wow, small world. Kittery Point is the first time I got to see the ocean. Thanks, but I'm not much of a drinker. The previous 2 times we went to Vermont, we thought we were saying good-bye, as Pop wants to sell the place. We sure didn't think we'd be back this time, but one never knows, perhaps we'll get to go back to the area.
Excellent spot for ocean viewing. Thanks again for all the great (and very well shot) pics of VT. I've not been to lake Willoughby; now I really want to go.
nice pics! i'm only a few states over, let me know if you want me to house sit that house every fall and winter. it's a tough job but i'm up for it![]()
Those are some great photos. I have been to Vermont. It was just a short visit during summer, and yes, I wanted to move there. But then I thought about the winters and said...um, no thanks LOL.
Thanks. I would love to be there in the winter. I love the snow. Those are some great photos. I have been to Vermont. It was just a short visit during summer, and yes, I wanted to move there. But then I thought about the winters and said...um, no thanks LOL.
Glad you had a good time.
Don't ski, but yes, snow, snow, snow. The winters are one of the big reasons TO live there - the skiing sucks in the summer;-)
Thanks. You're gonna love Smugglers Notch.Awesome pics dude. My family and I will be up in Smugglers Notch at the end of the month, hopefully to find some property and move up there.
Thanks. It's for sale, but for way more than what it's worth. He set a price based on what the tax appraisal was, but later found out other places were going for a lot cheaper. He wants my wife and I to have it, but it's too expensive for us. Taxes are high, plus he borrowed some money against it once too. $11,000 a year is too much for us, especially considering we would only be able to visit once or twice per year.Beautiful house.
Don't ever let that go out of the family.
There's nothing like being there.Absolutely mind bending gorgeous. I could smell the woods and lake. I have lived in the mountains surrounded by woods and water all my life and there's no better place to grow up and spend time.
Thanks man, appreciate it.Great pics Dubz!
great shots - thanks for posting.
