Very cool stuff coming from Condor Tool!!!

Just got some new drawings, and they have the Eye of the Condor hole in the blades

What is everyone's sincere opinion on the holes in the blades of these new knives. Please give input

I don't care for he holes in the blades of thier knives. I don't mind it on the machetes but on the knives and the golok I want them to look a bit more traditional. Theres no hole in a nessmuk after all. Don't get me wrong, I'm still gonna buy at least one of each, probably two or three of the goloks.

Agreed. Holes are fine on the big blades and machetes. I'd rather they left the smaller knives hole free.

I'd rather that they not have the holes, but if they were small then it wouldn't put me off buying them.

holes are gone. I felt the same way.

Hey Joe..tell them to stop drawing and start grinding!!! I am waiting to buy a few right now!!!!

The holes in the blades is what has kept me from buying several of the models. If it weren't for that I would probably already have a couple.

Joe, what do you think about using the "eye of the condor" as a lanyard hole in the end of the handle?

I never liked the holes, either. Like Busse's talon hole, sometimes it takes away from the design. That said, I'd still buy one of those new goloks, holes or not.

I was looking at their website and I found a bunch of blue plastic handles. Where can I find some with those nice wood and black scales?

The black handle indicates carbon steel. Wood handles are available only on a few models.

There will be wood handled carbon steel models as well. The black handles are new, but the new ones that will come out will be black.

Update

There will also be a double edges machete called "thunderhead" (I had nothing to do with that one) and a wide spear point carbon steel Flat ground knife entitled "RODAN" (tis mine!). It will have a black thermoplastic handle and should be quite an indestructible user. You will love this one! Will post pictures once the sample is made.
