What is this one called and where can I get it? :thumbup::)

that one will be called .......drumroll.....
The nessmuk :P
It will be a satin color

I vote for 1075, more than enough carbon for the hardness needed, and not enough to cause heat treat issues.

If I have anything to do with it, there will be plenty up at the mtn :)

At those prices, i think I'm going to buy them all starting with that Nessie. are these going to be a one time only deal or will they be added to condors line?

nooo. They will be added to the condor line for a while, especially if they sell well. And there is much more on the horizon if this goes good.

That 12" looks sweet. I see what you are talking about with the beak. I would love to see pics of it in use

I'm sure this has been asked before in this thread but;

When are these things going to be available VIA the internet for ordering? My B-day is coming up and I want that bushcraft model!

Thanks.

The gentlemen from Randall Adventure Training (AKA RAT) have said that Condor makes the worlds best machetes. That's good enough for me :). I love my 12" Inca.

Can't wait for that Golok to be available, but they really must make a sheath available too. 1075 will be perfect for a big (ish) chopping blade even tougher then 1095 with the right heat treat!

Yesterday I received a Condor 10" Inca knife...to be honest, I wasn't expecting the quality to be anywhere near as good as it is. Even the edge was a nicely honed convex and seriously sharp. The polymer handle is full enough to give a good grip with no hot spots at all. I know everyone here seems hot for carbon steel and the Inca is stainless, but after batoning the blade through some knotted box elder logs to make kindling the edge held up pretty well. The sharpness didn't change, but a couple of tiny dents/rolls were found afterward, but they were easily touched up. Considering the hardness of the knots, I was surprised there wasn't any chipping. Bottom line for me was that this knife will do what I wanted from it, and the quality was an added bonus.

I bought that inca knife too. I LOVE it!!!!!! It works great for a watermelon knife or a knife for the canoe.

Everyone loves carbon steel in a machete (myself included) but the Condor stainless holds up beautifully in both the edge retention and impact resistance departments so it's pretty much golden in my book! Can't wait to see what they can do with carbon, though.

That 420HC really seems to come into its own with the Condor Machetes. I read somewhere that the Condor people said that they had developed a really good heat treatment process for the steel!

aztec cleaver is cool, we used it at pwyp and were impressed with it. Their parent company has over 150 variations of blades made in carbon steel (boooiinnngg !)
