Well, got mine from KSF today. Tried to like it, but it just didn't feel right in my hand. Opened and closed it maybe 5 times or so. No doubt a nice knife, perfectly centered with no blade play. Just not for me. Guess I'll be staying with my CRK's, ZT's, and Spyderco folders. Now listed in the exchange...
Explain a bit more? Why does it not feel right? Is it the handle thickness? I read on bm forum that the handle is slimmer, tapers a bit more.
The handle is slimmer than other Grips if memory serves. It's hard to explain exactly. I guess I'm more partial to a thinner handle thickness. It's almost like picking up a guitar with a neck carve that doesn't click with you, while other people think it's the best feeling neck they've ever played. Sorry I can't be a little clearer...
Just ordered the 556-BK1 and 551-BK1 directly from Benchmade, will get it next week. I'm looking forward to see what these black coated blade look like with the new G10 scales since it's not yet released to dealers and they have no pictures available >![]()
For those that emailed me about Gavins clip I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. Here is his email and encourages contact. He is a great guy to deal with and responds ALOT quicker than I do
