Very happy to see a new G10 Grip!!!!

I need another knife like another a hole in the head, but have found myself wanting one of these. Might just wait and put it on the Xmas list, but a mini sheepsfoot might be the ticket. I've never tried the sheepsfoot Grip before, never really been a sheepsfoot fan, but I like my Insingo so much (plus Spydie hole) that I think I'd want to try it. Must resist....

Got my full size yesterday...Im a multiple Grip owner and I really like this version. The steel is new to me so I look forward getting familiar with it.

The black deep stock clip is nice but I really like my Gavin Hawk Titanium clip. Deep carry isnt important to me. This clip ticks a few boxes for me, looks, function and materials:cool::thumbup:

That's definitely an interesting pocket clip.

I like that... IIRC I saw a similar clip posted over in the CRK S/F

I never had any interest in the Sheepsfoot style blades on the 555's. After using Mini 556's for the better part of roughly 16 years, I finally decided to try one
and see if I actually liked it. When I first took the 555 out of the box and started playing with it, I found I had been missing out for quite a few years.
I really like them, and have since added a couple more to my collection...

:D

It's a Grant & Gavin Hawk clip, most commonly seen on the CRK Ti-Lock (and G&G's own knives of course). They still produce a version drilled for the Kershaw RAM, which happens to fit Benchmade as well. I used one for a while (it's really quite useful), although sadly it doesn't work with my current scales. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a different clip.

Cool... Thanks for the info

I just ordered 2 from knifeworks. One for me and one for the brother in law.Ditto 710-1401.He works his a-- off to keep my baby sister in the fashion to which she is accustomed.

I can't wait to see his smile when he gets these!!!

I have an 810BK that I've been really impressed with, I've been EDCing it for the past year and a half. I sent it back in for lifesharp service and action work, but before I did, I picked up this 710-1401 from knifeworks. I got it because as much as I like my 810 for its absurdly good fine edge retention. I prefer the profile of the 710. Before I had the 810, my EDC was a 710D2 for about three and a half years. I only bought the 810 because my wife wanted my 710D2. This new 1401 version is way lighter than the D2 version, I also really like the contoured scales. My favorite knife so far. Here it is.

That G&G Hawk clip looks good. I'm going to look for one of my parkerized grip clips and change out the deep carry this week.

I looked on their website for the clip but didn't see it. I did find it on CRK's website though...

If you don't find a parkerized clip let me know Charlie. I'll look to make sure, but think I still have one I'm not using, and I'll send it to you.

The one on the CRK website is different than the G&G Hawk one that is pictured. I emailed G&G and am waiting for their response...

I'm curious to see what they say. I thought about emailing them, but got side tracked... I wouldn't mind picking one up if it will fit a Benchmade

Thanks Mike, much appreciated.

I just got my 2 new grips from knifeworks as well as the 2 new 710-1401's.The grips were both perfect in every way.One was a marked original production which I will give to the brother in law.One of the 710-1401 has a small defect in the swedge...otherwise perfect.I am keeping that one for a heavy user. The perfect one goes to the brother in law.

All are sharp with perfect centering and excellent action. These are the best made grips I have ever seen.Knifeworks shipped really fast too...overall an excellent experience.

Better than I expected...these raise the griptillian to a whole new level. My REI G10 grip had to be adjusted. These new ones were perfect out of the box...

Well, got mine from KSF today. Tried to like it, but it just didn't feel right in my hand. Opened and closed it maybe 5 times or so. No doubt a nice knife, perfectly centered with no blade play. Just not for me. Guess I'll be staying with my CRK's, ZT's, and Spyderco folders. Now listed in the exchange...
