Very happy to see a new G10 Grip!!!!

Does it come in the sheepsfoot also?

Not yet. I'd love to see a 550HG version also. Maybe if this one is successful they will expand it to the other Grip styles. We'll have to wait and see.

I have a feeling if this first version does well, they will expand the choices, and hopefully offer different choices through the Custom Build program.
Although offering various options for regular production knives may sell better. I guess they could offer regular and custom offerings :D

I agree. We'll see. I'd like to see some G10 versions offered as regular productions though. Cheaper to buy them that way. They could sill offer G10 in the custom builds too.

That's the concern I have with offering them through the custom program. An S30V Mini is already $140, so it's hard to say how much they would charge with G-10 and different steel.

Sounded promising, but at that price… I also don't particularly like the color-scheme. Ah well, I don't need another knife, lol.
I'd agree. Honestly, I'd rather have a grip upgrade than a steel upgrade, that doesn't add much value for me.

You'd think they could offer some G10 color options, it wouldn't cost more to offer a few.

Looks like the grip is thinner/narrower than the moulded version. Can anyone confirm? Like the look, not the color so much. How's the weight compare to the original version? G10 can be heavy stuff if it's thick.

Yippee, a grip + custom g-10 scales = about $189 bfd! Let's see a Ritter with g-10 under $175 and I may be interested. Reg grip at $89 + $80 for custom grips = no real value other than the steel.

This may be the best marketing ploy ever! Everyone wants better scales so here you go :thumbdn:

A Ritter with G-10 for under $175 ? I seriously doubt that will happen...

The Forum is full of people who have bought aftermarket scales for $75 - $130, and put them on existing Grips. Some of them lowly production versions with 154 steel.
So why is the price so horrible ? I like the fact that BM did their G-10 and kept the original style of texturing on the side of the scales. IMHO it keeps it a Griptilian.

Yes, I would have rather seen the knives priced lower, but that is normal. BM finally listened to what people were saying, and I for one am very happy about it.

There is no way they can please everyone. Either the price is too high, or people don't like the colors, or both.

Your numbers and logic is off.

That doesn't seem to stop a whole bunch of people lately, all over.

Very true. The steel is a huge upgrade. No mention of the two tone G10. And he left out the Anodized aluminum spacers. Not to mention his prices are off on what a normal grip costs. When you use inaccurate and incomplete information as a means to invalidate an argument all you do is invalidate yourself.

I have to say these look very tempting. If I didn't just get the 665 I would be looking hard at this!

It also is a disservice to the forums in general. Some new guy may read that and take it for the truth, not knowing any better. Oh wells. You can explain things to people, but you cannot understand it for them.
