Vintage teardrop jacks!

Damn Evan, colour me jealous! I've been looking for an ebony teardrop with a propeller shield for ages! I've been hoping GEC would male one, but it looks unlikely.

I'm with Dan, is there any chance of it being the basis for an original "Esnyx?"

Where do we pre-order?????????!!!!!!!!!!:D:thumbup:

Here is an old Schrade I picked up the other day.

That ebony jack is beautiful!! Without the blade stamp, no way you would look at that and think it was made ~100 years ago (stamp used 1904-1917).

The closest GEC has come so far was for a SFO for JBF Champlin. I'm sure they'd do it again if enough people got together for a special order.

Well, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to say anything or not, but a certain order may or may not have been placed with a certain guy from Florida who may or may not make custom knives. Maybe. ;)

Thanks everyone! I was quite happy when I found this one, and I just might be using it as a basis for a certain order from a certain someone in Ohio. Maybe, just maybe...

Love that one Baldy:thumbup: I had eyes on that one as well. Glad it found a good home:thumbup:

This is a recent find for me...

I really love that EO teardrop Paul and it does look like the 2011 bladeforums knife. I guess I love this pattern because every knife on this thread is spectacular.

Thanks Jeff and Paul! I am really loving these propeller shields, especially with that matchstrike pull that you have Paul. I hope to be a good caretaker of this old ebony teardrop. Main blade is missing the tip, but it is wiggle free and has great snap. Looks like it has had an honest life so far. Love to see so many great knives!

Nice ones, Mark! I love the propeller shield on the teardrop pattern. Here's 3 old Schrades with the propeller shield.
