Title: Voodoo Child (slight Return)

Well, i stand up next to a mountain
And i chop it down with the edge of my hand
Yeah
Well, i stand up next to a mountain
And i chop it down with the edge of my hand
Well, i pick up all the pieces and make an island
Might even raise a little sand
Yeah

Cause i'm a voodoo child
Lord knows i'm a voodoo child baby

I want to say one more last thing

I didn't mean to take up all your sweet time
I'll give it right back to ya one of these days
Hahaha

I said i didn't mean to take up all your sweet time
I'll give it right back one of these days
Oh yeah

If i don't meet you no more in this world then uh
I'll meet ya on the next one
And don't be late
Don't be late

Cause i'm a voodoo child voodoo child
Lord knows i'm a voodoo child
Hey hey hey

I'm a voodoo child baby

I don't take no for an answer

Question no
Yeah

Forge a stream along a straight edge
Clean it up with file and hand.......

Very cool, Tai.

Thanks!

It reminded me of the waves crashing into the sand along the ocean's shore.

Awesome Knife and song haha
jimmy hendrix has immortal tone

I have always admired your work because its so different and raw
looks like you have a winner
what kind of grind is it? Flat?

a hammon would look interesting to go along with it like 2 waves ripping together

Eventually i would like to make something with a interesting style edge like that but i need more practice lol,

much more haha

cant wait to see it done

It's slightly convex,... but not the type that I could get with a belt grinder! Ha Ha Ha

The darker flat surface shows the hammer finished texture.

I think everybody who reads this posting owes it to himself to go to Tai's website and check out his galleries and 'on the bench' sections. I have found his work to be both inspiring and soul-stirring for what now amounts to my entire adult life. Thanks, Tai.

I thought about doing a clay quench line, but decided I didn't want any artificial lines distracting from the forms and flow of it.

I ended up doing a full quench and tempering it down real good, with some extra on the tang.

I had to use some special rounded stones to hone it with. I'm sure before it's over, it'll taste a bit of my blood! Ha Ha Ha :)

yeah it looks really interesting even the grain of the grind is really pleasing to the eye

makes me want to max out my credit cards and find all the tools to forge :D

Im one of those beltgrinder suckers, fortunately im not even good at that yet but one day lol

even my little sister wants to learn to forge

Thanks guys, I have some ideas for the handle, but we'll have to wait and see...
