I would vote one-handed locking, but mine are in no way tactical.

Yep. It was a mistake trying to lump that option all together. Sorry bout that y'all. Unfortunately, I cannot edit the poll here it seems. So I recon I'll have to go with what I have here and weed out the exceptions.

Thanx,

Anthony

I love the locking knife but I must say that for every day, basic cutting, I use my Curly Friction Folder.

I voted for "one hand opening/locking folder"(usually a framelock or backlock),but I do carry a SAK and/or a small fixed blade occasionally.

Mostly it's option #2 though.Cool poll:cool::thumbup:

Who voted for "Carry Knives? Are you kidding? No way, those things are sharp! You could cut yourself." & WHY are you here??:D

I always carry a Slippie, so that was my vote, but my number 2 would be my Pro-Tech Runt 2 Auto. I carry that thing all the time. I wouldn't carry a large auto for fear of going to jail, but that little "California legal" blade (just under 2") is an awesome thing to have true one-handed access to at times.

I'd EDC either one of those. Mostley one hand openers, but I don't try going for a 'tactical' look.

Right now it's a spyderco native 3. Doesn't looks tactical, but it opens with a flick, and looks really good to me. It's also very comfortable.

Trent Rock exclusively EDC's Bucklites
The thumb stud is optional
I like the clip, but, I can go without a clip for a day if need be.....

Slipjoints all the way. I've got a honey bone Mooremaker 5301 stockman 1095 blade steel just about every day. With that I've been carrying switching off between a S&M gunstock with ATS-34 blade steel, or newly acquired folding bowie by Joseph Allan & Sons, Sheffield. I'm loving carrying the Alan knife.

Or maybe one of these...

But if I'm in the field, or going out somewhere "special" thats a whole other animal.

Slipjoints, "tacticals", fixed and a multi-tool that has knife blades (that I seldom use), but nothing to be arrested for (bali and auto are illegal here).

Traditional pattern Slipjoints are at the top of my carry list. If I'm not at work I'll add a small fixed blade to that.

One handed liner lock
but kind of "normal" not tacticool

AND

Swiss army Knife

NO SWISS ARMY KNIFE OPTION ON THE POLL ! WTF ???

You'll always find a traditional in my pocket but usually next to it is a Pat Crawford One Hand Tactical.

Pocket knife aka slip joint.
Lately a PJ Tomes production trapper.
Life is good.

I always carry a slippie (traditional or SAK) and a Spyderco or Benchmade. I voted for traditional to bring up the vote count, but I always have a one hand opening locking knife as well.

I voted one hand liner/framelock.But I also pack a Queen D2 Stockman and a SAC.Afterall, one knife is never enough!
