Lately it has been a fixed blade in my pocket.
I have a few that I rotate:
BRKT Blackwater Boot
BRKT Micro TUSK
BRKT Wharncliffe EDC
DP 3" with maple handle
JK EDC with 2 tone micarta handle

I did NOT realize how many of y'all edc'd (2) or more knives at one time. Its amazing. I thought I was the only wacky walking multi-blade fellow out and and about.

My additional knife is typically a back up to my primary blade. Meaning, most days I don't depart from home edc'n (2) separate knives with the intention of performing separate tasks.. Although this does occur on occasion. For instance, if I am going out fishing, and hunting. :)

How about you all? I am interested to know, please.

Well, I need a multiple option...... I normally have a slippy, a onehanded tac, and a neck knife...........

I guess if I'm wearing more than underwear, I have a slippy, if I go out the door, I add the other two, so I have to pick the slippy.

Why are all one handed openers tactical?
.

They aren't. I doubt anyone would call a Case trapperlock tactical. Same with the SAK one-handed Trekker. There are plenty of examples that are anything but. ;)

I voted, but regular work horse locking knives such as the Buck 110 was left out of the poll. These are very common knives. I do not consider these to be one handed or tactical.

Therefore this poll is null and void.

Gravity knives open under the force of gravity alone. Balisongs require extra manipulation. If you just let gravity do the work you're stuck with the blade and one handle dangling. Balis are a class of their own.

I always have a slipjoint and a one hand opener on me, but I use the slipjoint much more, so thats what I voted for.

I nearly always have a "tactical" folder and a SAK (super tinker, perfect tool combo IMO). A "tactical" folder is with me 95% of the time, but if i only have one thing in my pockets, it will be my super tinker.

I usually carry multiple knives:
-tradional folder or SAK (usually a medium stockman or Vic Spartan or Wenger SI)
-One handed folder, something modet like a BEnhmade Pika.

There is usually always a multi-tool in my jacket.

I carry a spring assisted mulit colored mostly pink { SINCE I AM A GIRL } everywhere I go!!! It's a cheap Kershaw Clone but I love it for EDC. The expensive knives I keep in a cabinet for display. That's how a HillBilly Heaven Girl rolls. HAHA

I would actually vote bali and tactical folder cause I carry both, sometimes
at the same time. The folder to take out to use for normal tasks. The Bali
cause I'm addicted to flipping. :D

My carry preferences change over time but I would say there has always been a slipjoint of some kind in the mix. Today; a K.R. Johnson Soddie in D2, an A.G. Russell yellow bone barlow in carbon steel, a Spyderco Millie in S30V, a Busse Bear Cub with Ram Horn handle in, of course, INFI steel and a SAK.
