One of the nicest parts of the whole custom knife experience is getting to work with and know the makers. In many cases they become good friends.

I just got off the phone with Enrique and we talked about the attributes of the knife for close to the last hour. I enjoy going over all the aspects of the knife with a maker and talking about where a knife might be refined as well as all of the good things it brings to the table.

When a maker feels that your critique is useful in terms of helping him develop his skills its a great way of feeling that you become part of the process (if even in just a small way). For that reason I always try to be as honest as I can be while staying positive and supportive.

That's a nice looking knife Elliott! My hat is off to Enrique for his accomplishment. I predict Mr. P will be known for his bone handles for many years to come!!
