A few quick and dirty indoor shots with a couple different background to try and show the color differences. I'll get better pics later.
Top one is case hardened armor, and bead blasted (I think) darkened (bronzish) Ti scales. Double-cut blade. Black/Yellow liner.
Bottom one is stonewashed bright metal everything. Black/Yellow liner.
I got SO lucky here! I LOVE the light and dark contrast with this pair!
Very yin yang! Can pick which one to carry depending on my mood lol!
Clips! Haven't seen the full BUSSE one on here yet.
The case hardened one is almost exactly what I would have ordered if I had done the custom option. Probably would have elected for a satin blade instead, but I am perfectly fine with this as-received!
They are more different than looks alone might indicate. Here's a picture showing the different bends between the two.
The BUSSE one on the left is deeper-carry, and has a slightly shallower depth. The "B" one on the right carries about 1/4" higher, and could clip onto a thicker pocket seam.
Both float ~3/32" from the scale below, they do not touch. I might bend them both down a tiny bit to make them tighter, pocket retention is a bit looser than I prefer. Of note, the aft armor screw interferes slightly when drawing from the pocket. A slight twist clears it just fine, however.
I think I prefer the deeper-carry "BUSSE" clip, but time will tell.
It may also be that all of the cbt was scooped up via the custom orders.
I was thinking today that it might be good to document the variations by name to memorialize that daya.
Now is as close as anyone will ever be to compiling the info, and we might be able to get someone from the Company to help with feature identification.
That said, back to hungry weasel mode waiting to see more variations.
