Walking dead kind of night

So when does the next season air? The wife and I were googling around last night ( :D ) and could'nt get any info.

Pokey glad you like it ..it might make up for some of my order problems (MY FAULT) when you check yoyur email...

Did anyone else notice, but all the shots to the walkers were head shots. Some great shooting rather it being from standing or from a moving vehicle. No center of mass shots.

I've been avoiding this thread since Sunday because I was out of town. I finally caught it last night and all I can say is oh my goodness. Whatever that Michonne thing is it looks pretty amazing. These guys, including Hershel, must play a lot of COD. They are headshot masters. I’d like to get some more information on that shotgun Hershel was using that had a 150 round magazine.

It was some pretty amazing shooting. I am gonna have to work on my drive by shooting skills before the zombies come.

It may not be blood born.I thought they said it was something like rabies. You can not get Rabies from blood. It travels through the nervous system,it can be passed via a bite when it gets to the saliva glands. So if it is like that they would have to rub saliva or flesh into a cut, eyes or mouth.

Now we're talking! This was the basis for the movie Quarantine which I thought was epic.

Now now....It showed him reloading once. He just had really big pockets.

LMAO!!! Archer is hilarious! I just watched it last night on net flix  Pam is the greatest

Pam is getting a lot better, she's had some funny stuff in season 3. But still, Krieger or Stearling all the way

He did carry a .44 Magnum..

A little trivia though, in Dirty Harry the gun was in fact a M57 .41 Magnum because S&W couldn't supply a M29 until the movie was almost done so they shot all the scenes showing the muzzle later once they got the M29.

It was for the best, the .41 is better than the .44 anyway :D :D

I read the comics, so sadly, I know how it all ends.

What I love is how the zombie virus in movies, and literature is usually always just that: A Virus.

I'd love to see one where it was a Prion, like Mad Cow Disease or something. Incurable. Kinda adds to the fear factor, ya know?

I read the comic as well. There is enough difference already to tell me I don't know how anything ends but enough the same to tell me that there is some awesome stuff to come.

Women dont understand how a man crush works. Every generation has their own version; John Wayne, Paul Newman, Sean Connery.... This list goes on and on. How many dudes went out and bought a .357 Magnum after seeing Dirty Harry carry one?

44 SW magnum?

edited to add....never mind.:D

I really wish in the finale... when Rick was saying all that stuff about how he wanted to kill Shane so all his b u l l s h i t would end... and Laurie kept getting pissed at him or whatever... as she was walking away... the episode would have ended something like this:

Rick to Laurie: "I hear Nabraska's nice..."
--fade to black--
--Gunshot--

I loved the final episode as well. One thing that bothers me though. I wouldnt have fired a shot at the farm. Let me lock the hubs in my 78 ford f-250 and id just run them all the hell over. 2000 walkers vs strategic running down? please. And thats without modding it at all. As for Rick ... I love the character and he is a bad ass but he should have told the story of Shanes death a bit differently to his wife and the group. ... SIMPLE...HE LURED ME OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE AND DREW DOWN ON ME> I MANAGED TO TALK HIM DOWN SOMEWHAT AND HE ADMITTEDF TO ME THAT HE BROKE WHATS HIS NAMES NECK TO THEN SEPERATE ME FROM THE OTHERS> HE FELT THAT HE WAS BETTER FOR LORI AND CARL AND THAT I WASENT A GOOD LEADER> I KEPT HIM TALKING LONG ENOUGH TO GET CLOSE AND AS HE WAS ABOUT TO SHOOT ME I MANAGED TO DEFLECT HIS ARM HOLDING THE PISTOL TO THE SIDE AND THEN I STABBED HIM >

Or hell even just say he went to draw on me but I was faster and hit his gun arm and managed to stab him.... ANYTHING but his dumbassed story ( true ) how he knew he was being led away to be killed and he wanted him to try so he could just end it.

Or how he was desiring to kill him so much.

And Lori looks like she despises him now because he went with being led out and then killed Shane because he wanted to. In his description he never even says Shane drew on him and was about to kill him, just that he knew that hane wanted him dead but killed him first. Too much drama. Why not just say he drew on me with intent to kill me and I defended myself. NOONE would question it that knew the 2 of them, their perspective attitudes and then throw in the love triangle....

The chick whose daughter dies and Glenn and Maggie all attacking him for not telling about the virus info need to piss off. Again Rick could have explained himself better.

And I wish that when he was being a dumass and going with the full version of how he killed shane and he mentioned that shane broke that guys neck that Daryl ( hell even glenn ) would have backed him up to the group since they knew this too be true already.

Lori.....pls die

Chick who lost her daughter...pls die

T-Dog....pls die

Daryl step up and be Ricks right hand FFS

Glenn and Maggie and the rest of the group need to think really hard about all that Rick has done for the group and how they would all most likely be walker bait if it wasnt for him. They dont have to like his decision about not telling about them all being infected but try to see it from his point of view and how he wanted to make sure before laying that additional worry on everyones heads. As soon as he had the info confirmed, what did he do??? He told them all. Gave them confirmed info, not some bs unconfirmed story that would have caused more harm than good and most likely a good deal of panic. They can just ask Ricjk for full disclosure on stuff like that from that moment and going forward.

And again, that chicjk who lost her daughter needs to die ASAP. With all of the work Rick put into trying to find her little girl and she just dogs him out like hes a worthless bum and a crappy leader. I would love it if for a episode or 2 Rick just took his son and went off on his own and left them to their own devises. Although that wouldnt work since Carl would want his momma. I think Daryl would be a ok leader to some extent but Rick would always be better. Daryl is more of a loner. That being said I think the perfect scenario is Rick leading. Daryl right hand leiutenant type, and Glenn as anouther leader type, can be in charge of procurements.

Ok Ill shut up now as I have went on for alot longer than I meant to with this.

Bottom line, Rick is a badass and everyone needs to realize that like all great men , he isnt perfect, no one is , and he has put it all out there for them time and time again and they need to cut him a lil slack.

Oh yeah and lori, chickwithdeddaughter and t dog need dead. A>S>A>P>>>>.

Sorry for misspells, im too tired to proofread

Daryl step up and be Ricks right hand FFS

I feel Rick is placing a lot of trust and responsibility in Daryl lately, but I just thought this was really ironically funny considering what happens to Rick's right hand in the comic soon after discovering the prison, which is what he's about to do in the show.

If I had a nickel for every line in a movie that could be rewritten to prevent misunderstanding between characters... well I'd be rich but I'd also have a lot of movies that ended unexpectedly quickly :p

So what is everyone doing tomorrow now that TWD is not on...?

Anyone have a substitute for it?

Bolded... heh, very true. But still how easy would it have been...he went crazy and drew down on me but I managed to stab him before he killed me.... Peeps would still be a bit mad or whatever but who wouldnt believe that version. It blows my mind that not one time during his telling Lori or the group does he say that Shane drew down on him and was going to kill him. And even though shane was a bit offf his rocker, he still didnt feel like doing it until Rick drew his gun. Some guy pointing a gun at you saying...ok draw...basically so they can feel a lil better at night about shooting you.... and him pacifying him till he got close enough to strike was I guess the only thing he could have done at that point. However, Knowing what was going to happen as he did I just wish he had either drew on Shane first and killed him or maybe realized as shane was about to draw and they had a quick draw with him beatrin Shane out. How did shane get killed in the comic?

And as for your Right hand comment, I havent read the comics, can I assume Rick loses his hand or has it maimed in some way?

Yeah, I really don't know what the writers were going for. All I can think about is that Rick's head is in a constant tug-of-war all the time trying to make the right choices with new rules that don't exist yet. He was probably still debating whether or not to kill Shane even after the knife was already in him.

In the comic (spoilers), Shane and Rick went hunting for the group when it was still camped just outside Atlanta, Shane drew a gun on Rick, and Carl appeared out of nowhere and shot Shane through the neck. He died either choking or bleeding to death. No brain trauma--like in the show, it's Shane's reanimation many, many, many issues later that confirms to Rick that everyone turns when they're dead no matter the cause, although the events leading up to it are much, much different as you can imagine (in the comic, Shane dies pretty much before anything happens at all).
