WALKING DEAD Season 4, Sunday 10-13-13

We are not sure Carol really did it. There is just something very wrong about those 2 little girls. Carol is covering for them maybe. I notice Rick at the crime scene looking at a hand print on the door and it was very low on the door.

I'm not so sure that Carol did the killing... I think one of the girls she is looking out for did and she is covering for them... I'm drinking at the moment so here is my theory :D

One of the kids does the killing, Carol comes upon it and trying to cover for the child Carol does drag the bodies outside and burns them, a small child is not going to be able to do that.

Think about it, if this is what happened it takes the Tyreese revenge factor out of the equation, he can't kill one of the children out of revenge and stay with the group obviously.

When Rick gets back to the prison and tells everyone what he did and why... which ever one of the kids did do the killing admits to it out of guilt over Carol being gone and then we have the Search -n- Rescue party, this is where the Gov. comes back into the picture.

Hope that made sense... I've gone back to drinking and reading.

EDIT... I see that me and u812 are on the same page, are you drinking to

Thers were so many times that Carol could have been removed from the show and I wouldnt have cared but know she is actually useful and Rick kicks her out. Dumb on Ricks part if you ask me.

Garth

Not sure she is useful now, she just seems to have completely lost it. The group made a decision to isolate those two people while they figured out a way to treat them, she decided that she knows better and killed them instead. What happens when she thinks that she knows better in another situation and kills someone else "for the best of the group"? She is clearly unstable, and that makes her a danger to have around.

There's complaints that Rick tried farming for the group? Well setting up a more sustainable food source seems like a good decision to me in their situation, especially in a safe zone.

Also not getting the complaints about the medic. Sure he's a booze-hound, but that doesn't make him a bad person, he clearly has some PTSD he's dealing with. Just bring him back something to drink from some runs, and keep him back at the base. Hell, if the world turned into a zombie-fest and I was stuck living in a prison, I'd be fighting for that bag with the bottle pretty hard too.

Tbh all these ” wrong decisions” and unexpected scenarios are what keep this show interesting for me. If they did everything ” right” and by the book the show would be not only boring but even more unrealistic than it already is.

No need to now have you seen how he's been eyeing and flirting with Michonne? Reminds me of that 70's song lyrics. "If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with!"

Michonne and Carol are two totally different people. The battered wife vs the butt kicking rough and tough chick. Crazy that he would go from one extreme to the other.

Michonne HAS show a softer side...remember her holding "little AZZ-Kicker"?:D And were'nt the two guys on chains her brother and boyfriend?;)

Known only if we read the comics.

Yup. She described them as a couple of guys she knew before the Dead walked the Earth in the TV series.

Giving off the impression that perhaps they were neighbors, acquaintances, maybe just a couple of guys from the neighborhood whom she got along with. That's really messed up that she did that to her brother and boyfriend. I mean seriously messed up.

I thought Daryl showed incredible restraint when the medic went to draw on him when he was gonna smash the bottle. I would have given him a Gemini labotamy right there.
The charachter progression is one of the things that keeps me interested. Soft, shy, leave me alone Carol has hecome ruthless while Daryl the hot headed loner is know thinking things through and acting as a leader.

Didn't she say something about they got what they deserved when she offed them?

Maybe its just my inner farm boy thinking but when I saw that huge herd of walkers my only thought was "are there no tractor dealerships in the area?". A big John Deere 9560, maybe a disk, and just a few gallons of diesel would have made short work of all those geeks. :D

I'm thinking cotton harvester, those things are huge and powerful, the gear on the front is perfect for disassembling the undead. They turn on a dime as well, its a good thing. :)

Here's a pic of a cotton "picker" harvester. Imagine the possibilities! :D

I've been around these monsters all my life, they are intimidating to be around, I cant imagine one coming at me.

that would be epic! first time I saw one was when I was out there last week.

I'm thinkin' the mash factor of a big four wheel drive would be the most reliable. Lay on the horn to draw 'em in, pitch the wheel hard left, lay on the throttle and let the crunching begin. I've run a few big corn choppers and it would be great until the discharge chute plugged up with zombie muck.
