WALKING DEAD Season 4, Sunday 10-13-13

I'm with you on this one. I didn't care for her character in the first few seasons but now I dig it.

Dittos.

Carol went from whiner to shiner in just 2 seasons.

Heck, anyone who's teaching the kids about knives can't be all bad. And, i could be wrong, but wasn't it her pack that Rick was looking at in the back of the SUV, the one with and the knives, including what looked like a BM in it? Gotta love her.

Maybe its just my inner farm boy thinking but when I saw that huge herd of walkers my only thought was "are there no tractor dealerships in the area?". A big John Deere 9560, maybe a disk, and just a few gallons of diesel would have made short work of all those geeks. :D

YES! That would be perfect

that would be epic! first time I saw one was when I was out there last week.
Hard to realize the scale of those monsters till your close to one eh? That, and its a different world down here huh? I didnt realize how different till I spent some time out of state, wow!
I'm thinkin' the mash factor of a big four wheel drive would be the most reliable. Lay on the horn to draw 'em in, pitch the wheel hard left, lay on the throttle and let the crunching begin. I've run a few big corn choppers and it would be great until the discharge chute plugged up with zombie muck.
Oh yes! A good friend of mine in Oklahoma bought himself one of those eight wheel tractors with the swivel center last summer and its a true beast. I cant imagine it getting stuck anywhere or on anything. Doing figure eights in that herd would be a hoot! :D Kind of surprised we havent seen something like that already, though the car getting stuck on that pile of corpses was a little disturbing.

A big ol' Deere blowing smoke and slingin' zombie gut rooster tails! All that from the comfort of an air conditioned cab and a Pantera cd blasting on the stereo. Now, that's what I'm talkin' 'bout! The only thing more that a guy could want is some ice to keep the drinks cold. :D

ok - again i have to say this whinng Rick with his decisions - i found him annoying from the beginning

like you guys said before - he is okay with his son shooting this other kid?! - but then again all Rick ever cared about was his family - i certainly would not team up with somebody like that - all this rule making by him kinda defies the whole apocolypse scenario for me

- Shane, Merle and now even Carol - THEY knew how to deal with things!

Oh yes! There is room, in fact a place to put the beer cooler. :D

All this whining and dark mood has me thinking of how some other zombie movies deal with the stress.

ZombieLand, Woodie Harrelson has the right idea on how to keep yourself from going absolutely bat crazy in the new world.

Dawn of the Dead, shooting them from the roof is the best way to pass time. :)

Lesson learned from the comic series, keep the groups small, keep moving and always look for opportunities to bolster the supplies. Sitting tight always attracts attention, especially from the living who are the real threats when it comes down to it.

Anyone else notice the huge structure beyond hill and herd just after they heard the broadcast on the radio?

My wife and I have sat there watching TV thinking the same thing. Man the world is your oyster in this situation. Go get what you want and don't think small. Even an old Army 5-ton would be a hoot. Any tracked vehicle would be ideal. If you think about it by the time you got all the zombee guts slung all over it the zombees couldn't sniff you out, anyone heard of camouflage. They did it in previous shows all the way back to S-1 when they covered themself in zombee guts and walked amoung them. THINK!!! Come on writters give us something to cheer about instead of Rick whinning.

UGH!!! enough with the commercials. Also, I have decided that there is nothing left about Rick that I like, at all.

Well how is that for an ending....

I had enough of the Governor about the second episode of season 3. Really hate to see him come back unless it is for about 30 seconds to see him die as he should have last season.

Amen to that!!^^^ I am so ready for him to not be a threat anymore now that the zombies actually seem to be harmful again this season.

The only problem with equipment that runs on fuel is that after it sits without running for long periods of time, you can't get 'em to move so easy, brakes seize, fluids leak, batteries die so the longer time goes on the more cars and trucks become unstartable, eventually they become nothing more than rusting markers on the roadside, (unless you're a mechanic with took and access to parts...
