Walking Dead Time!

Thursday, three days till the showdown!

I like Daryl, but I did think it somewhat silly of him last week when they were at the farm and the truck is pulling up and he is aiming his crossbow at it. What is he planning to do with the crossbow at this point. I hope he at least has a handgun on him.

Yeah, crossbow vs zombies, good. Crossbow vs people with guns (who are also in vehicles), not so good. Unless it's The Bow of a Thousand Truths and it's been enchanted by a +2 shaman

I love the show , but you have to overlook things like the governor shooting his steyr aug right handed right handed when he has a patch over his right eye.

Of you sit back and look at the big picture, we have no issue with suspending disbelief about the zombie apocalypse, but forget to put a rear sight on the Gov's AR, and the whole show losses crediblilty!!

Ha! You should be in charge of consistency, that didn't even cross my mind.

Is Michonne's sword anything special? I know that's a Q for the sword forum, but I never go over there...

I was sitting here repairing the edge on my KZII and it dawned on me that the showdown is almost here!

They got to pick it up some. The last two episodes could have been a half episode.

I thought tonight's episode was pretty good. It built up a lot of tension, further explained Tyreese's group's dynamics, and there was plenty of zombie killing.
I particularly enjoyed Andrea's door tactic.
This episode is ehh... I think the "hot scene" was the nerdy guy
Milton is his name, and I agree, seems it was him.

the episode is good. I'm just impatient to find out what happens at the end of it all is all it is.

If meaning symbolism, I have no idea. As for what it's made of, that's a couple pages back in this thread somewhere :D

I meant is it from a well known maker, like Darryl's TGLB. Thinking the sword guys might be going nuts over in there pen...

Yeah, kinda seems like they're dragging it out. I avoid the "next week's episode" commercials with a passion, so I really thought the battle was going to be today. Stupid plotline episodes jfpowputmnblzeo

It was him for sure.

The door trick was nice, she totally Bond-villianed it though...

I was wondering why no one had been posting about this weeks 'sode, then realized it's St. Patty's Day and the Busse forum lot aren't generally light drinkers, even under normal circumstances :D

I was wondering if he got bit.

I wonder.....just because you get bit...does that mean you will turn? The only person that has turned because of a bite/scratch was Jim (first season?second?). And we can't even be sure that Jim turned because of a bite, or he just had a high fever and he was going to die and then change. Everyone changes anyhow when they die.

Maybe I'm putting too much thought into this.

Only other one I can think of is Andrea's sister...she turned pretty quick after being bit in the neck, not sure if she just died from blood loss though. Who knows?

What's strange is that if bit, you turn; but they are all already infected. So does getting bit cause death and then you turn? But if you die, you still turn cause you're already infected. My thoughts are the same as 2TONYB's

In the first ep Morgan said his wife was bit and she turned. As he put it the bites give you an intense fever and "burns you out". The bites themselves don't cause you to turn but they are fatal and once you die, you turn.

Ahhh, I see. It all makes sense now.

It could have been a massive plague and the survivors now are just the resistant people.

Even if you spray roaches with bug spray, a certain percentage will live just because they're naturally resistant... Notice how a lot of survivors are people with their kids?

Maybe not everyone who turned was turned by a bite, they just turned because they got sick.
