I can't wait until October!I think I might start watching Madmen on AMC. Has anyone ever seen that show before? It sounds like it is popular.... I might give it a go =-) Nothing can replace TWD. Ever!
"Mad Men" is a good show -- although a definite change of pace from TWD. I far prefer TWD, but MM holds my interest also. My wife is in love with the Don Draper character (John Hamm), and is prolly a big reason why it's "must-see" viewing for her.
MM is a true serial like TWD, so you HAVE to watch it from the beginning. Everything builds on previous events, and you need to watch it chronologically to understand the issues pertaining to each character. Also, it's interesting to watch how the show reflects each time period through which it's passing (the attention to period detail is great).
I'm looking forward to another season of "Dexter." I'm also surprised and delighted that AMC has opted for another season of "The Killing" (after initially cancelling it). I would definitely give this show a look when it begins airing (I believe in June...).
