Gotta keep your distance and the Butaniku isn't out yet...
Guns against zombies are great is you live on a mountain of pre-loaded clips, but my system is: you stand behind and shoot around me, I go Highlander on their butts and you're safe to reload.
The bullet/blast resistant armor is to defend against people... I've been thinking about getting some trashed motorcycle leathers and see how "bite resistant" they are...
I've also got a reversed (concave out towards the enemy) riot shield called a capture shield on my list. Theory being it's harder for grabbing zombies to grab the edges of that to pull on, mixed with a blood rayne arm sword that you can plant in a hallway to buy time indoors.
Oh, and for a 25 mile radius from where I live it's rural and sparsely populated... and on a mountain

I moved a while ago, that picture is probably about a year old. I used to live in your house
