Carol is lucky they were using some kind of bullets that didn't pass through his body. If they had full metal jacketed bullets she would be dead.

I know exactly what you mean. One of the prisoners in the comic (not Axel) ended up being pretty psychotic. I think the writers for the TV series knew what was on the comic readers' minds and tried to hint to us that Axel would go crazy like that and murder Beth, with all his weird staring at the girls. Seeing him die made me both happy that he wasn't that psycho but sad that he died :(

Better ep last Sunday. Glad to see Daryl's back but the big question is what are they gona do with Merle? It's just a matter of time so let's take a poll! COMIC BOOK GUYS NO SPOILERS!

How many more episodes will Merle live through and who do you think will eventually rid the series of him? There's the obvious people who want him dead but I think when he goes it's gona be a blind sider that comes outa left field. Should be an interesting episode tonight

No spoiler from the comic book on that. IIRC Merle & Daryl had a very small role in the comics, I don't think they even made it to the prison.

But, I will predict that he will make it to the 2nd to last episode of this season, and I have a feeling it will be something like how Dale was killed off in season 2.

Huh? Interesting to see how the story line from the series has changed a bit from the comic book. Good to keep everybody guessing
 
Daryl and Merle were never in the comics they were for the TV episodes only kind of like free floating characters if you will. The comic and TV episodes interweave each other but differ a lot. In can't wait to see tonight's ep but more than that, I can't wait to get my tglb! Wonder if I could get Norman reedus to sign it? Lol
 
Yeah Daryl or Merle wern't in the comics but Kirkman has teased he might at least put Daryl in the comics at some point. Anyway can't wait for tonight especially since my TGLB got back to me yesterday with a fresh Comp finish :D

Nice! Wish I would have asked about Comp finish first but I'll still be happy with it in tan with black paper.
 
Hahaha! ^You guys are FUNNY! The thought of a bunch of dudes sitting in front of the TV watching The Walking Dead with there TGLB's in hand slicing through air like there killing a bunch of zombies like they were Daryl is just to damn funny!!! LMAO!

My bad. I have both compendiums but it's probably been a year and a half since I read the first one, hard to remember some things. :D
By the way, I highly recommend reading the comics. They are very dark, shocking, horrific, and all that good stuff, but still a good read.
 
No worries lol. I agree 100% if you haven't read the comics that you should, they are awesome! I've read all of them so far but I don't own them all yet. It's interesting the way the two differ.

And hell yeah I'd sit and watch twd with my tglb in hand haha!
 
why do the walkers bleed? It occurred to me when one of them just got an arm chopped off, as I understand it, the brain re-animates, the heart is not still pumping, so why are they bleeding when they get dusted?
