Want or need or deserve a free buck knife ?

Dave, this is a nice gesture and I thank you.

I've discovered that I have no love for the basic 110 design:eek:. I don't dislike it, but I just can't seem to keep one for very long.

Custom 110's are another story, but there are so many to choose from, I am too poor to get all of them, and very overwhelmed. A David Yellowhorse 110 with BG42 blade steel or a damascus stag 110 would be perfectly alright with me.

;):D:cool:

jk bro, jk

um. i jest want it.

good enough to get you in the drawing !
i have not heard from the wife how the winner will be choson..
could be a date and time and closest post ..
or :foot: random draw
or the wife or her daughter will read and pick one..
i jest dont know ...
trying to decide what is to be won...
no i dont think any s30v made the first cut of selection... :o

I think I deserve a free buck, because my only buck knife is a Buck Vantage Pro, and it is the only knife I consider to be mine. It has some wobble, but it's a nice knife and it was my first one and so far I really like it, and I would really like another buck to add to my extremely small collection. I promise I'll keep it sharp :).

Because I have a buck in the bedroom, another in the kitchen, a third in the bathroom, and a fourth on the bookshelf in the living room.

I need a fifth for the coat closet :grumpy:

Dave, I like The Longbows idea, but will take it a step further......I think it should go to someone in your local scout troop. I'm sure their scout master could find someone who "wants it, needs it, deserves it" a lot more than I do.
Diver

I am posting my second entry in this forum. If I win, do what Diver says.

ah folks this is the last or next to last bump
i am still in Florida but have the TWO buck knives with me!
so last chances are upon you as the drawing time draws near!

I don't need one, I just want one. Then again, nobody needs more knives than they have right now (you know for a fact people on Bladeforums have more knives than the rest of their city combined, unless another member of Bladeforums lives there).
I would give it to my brother, because he isn't "into" knives. He would like a knife if he doesn't have to pay himself, though. So that's why I want to enter and see if I can win a buck knife :D

I guess I could use a Buck knife. Well not me, but my dad. It would go to my father who was heartbroken when he lost the new 301 given to him by my two girls for his birthday last year. The man carried an 80T for a good many, many years and was beside himself when the girls gave him the brand new 301. Within 2 months he lost it at a car show cutting some string or something like that. He felt bad for quite some time. Oh well.....

ok here are picts of the giveaway knives
sorry there were no fixed blades & no stag or other fancy
no brass 110's (well a buck lite counts as a 110 - dont it ?)
but they are not cheep knives and they are nice
the buck lite is new and the other jest needs some sharp put to it

wife will tell me how to pick winners later ..
ps
she said you can enter right up to when she picks the winners

Well, if it is not too late, I would not mind a free knife :D

I don't think I personally deserve one, I already own a few,all bucks except for an American Cutlery one. This was a gift when I was in Royal Rangers when I was 12. I still have it by the way, Stag handle great hunting and fishing knife. At this time I started collecting knives, mostly Bucks. When I went to School my parents cleaned out my room and had a garage sale and guess what they sold? You guessed it, all my collection. The only reason they didn't sell my American Cutlery one is because I took it with me. I still don't deserve that Buck though.

When my oldest son Angel turned 12, I gave him a Buck 102 woodsman, Someone came over to my house and ripped it off. It was on the kitchen counter after we came back from a fishing trip, he had just cleaned out some fish. He doesn't need it because I bought him a replacement. My second son Josh got a Buck 105 pathfinder when he turned 12. So he doesn't need it either.

Which brings me to my Nephews, 10 and 11. Their Father ran out on them. I have been taking them out with me fishing. I bought them their first fishing poles and was with them when they caught their first fish. Even If I don't win this Buck You can bet they will get theirs, but if I do, you can rest assure you know where It's going. I will keep this tradition alive. Thank You, and good luck to all.

I never had a Buck knife, I heard a lot of good stuff about them though, and how popular they are here. I'd like to see one, but I just can't justify buying it, seeing how I already have over $1k in knives (3/4 of that are 3 knives) and most of the niches are filled. It would be nice to see what all the fuss is about, but I rarely get something without having to work for it, and I'm used to that. Thanks for doing this, and good luck to everyone.

cheers.
