Wanted to say hi with my first order of XM 18 from plaza cutlery !

Congratulation guys, you've effectively hijacked the thread from the original poster, felix1k. Back on point, congrats Sir on an excellent choice and welcome to the addiction!

Sorry about that. Congrats felix1k, the 3.5" slicer is a great first XM, we look forward to your impressions when it arrives.

Sorry about that felix1, not intentional, and since you have similar taste as mine, without a doubt you'll love the XM :)

I think it's cool that people share their opinions. I always buy first knife of a new brand new from authorized dealer to give it a fair evaluation. It seems like a good idea as well with Teflon washers. Ajack60 is my buddy !

First impression. Plaza Cutlery needs to package better. What a smooth solid flipper. Very easy non stick closing action. Harder to open using thump lug than new Umnumzan. It will definitely take it's place among my EDC crew!

They are beasts!! If I was to have one folder out in the woods. It would be the 24 hands down!

Actually it looks like a knife you want use the hell out of. Not classy looking like sebenza at all. Looks like a $100 knife :))

I have seen (and own) a lot of $100 knives, I don't think it looks anything like those, XMs are way more beefy, better built, better materials with better tolerances and precision.

Yeah I don't know what $100 knives you've had..?

Very tight tolerances, titanium, super steel, sharp as hell, very smooth operation I have never gotten all these in a $100 dollar knife. And I could go on

Enjoy it. They are awesome. And functional. You can use it without fear of scratching the pretty finish. And it's so overbuilt you can confidently do any task within reason and not worry about whether it can take it. I own three right now ;)
