Warning - Buyer who wants to return a fake Sebenza (bait and switch)

This is why I have a lot policies to cover my bases. Specially when dealing with high end knives. Most of the high end knives have a quick turn over sale so there's no point in assuming high risks when dealing with new members (usually registered same month, and all posts have been for high end knife acquisitions).

This guys is straight up fraudulent trash, thanks for releasing details now we can a bit safer.

I'm not sure why the OP keeps trying to contact the guy. Better to make a complaint with the USPS or the US Attorney's office.

I just wanted to give him every opportunity! People make bad decisions and I wanted to give this guy every chance to do the right thing! My next step is to contact them! Good comment, good point! :)

The scammer is back under the guise of oojsd (his old ID backwards). CRK guys, be careful!

What a shame...I am glad all his accounts are banned we don't need that on our forum! Hang in there, hopefully PayPal does the right thing and tells the guy to go away.

He tried scamming me. I still have the emails he sent me on a large lefty 21. I actually almost made a deal with him but he quit responding. A few days later when I posted another knife for sale he contacted me again with a low-ball offer and I never responded to him.

What a scam! I keep emailing, requesting for him to return the knife and if it is the same knife in the same condition I sold it to him, I will return his money. NO RESPONSE! This just proves, he want the money AND the knife!

Keep the paper trail for Paypal or whatever bank you have in case he tries to go big.

I hope you win the Paypal claim, I sold a set of coins for $1,100 on Feebay and the guy filed a claim that said he got an empty box and then e-mailed me, through their site no less, offering to split the difference and I declined to get a judgement against me! He e-mailed me through their own site offering to take a 50% refund and drop the case and they still ended up giving him a full refund. Who takes a 50% refund on a $1,100 deal if they really did not get the product? Scammers live on all Internet sites so beware and don't bank on Paypal being logical or doing the right thing...they always side with the buyer!

No they don't.

something i have found usefull is to always call or skype the personhou trade with at the very least if there is an issue.

that flushes out a lot of the garbage right away.

OP please update with your situation! Paypal has been notorious about siding with buyer ONLY. Hope that doesn't happen with you!
