Mike just talked to a young man that was all upset claiming we have not replaced his knife he sent in under warranty. Problem is he did not send in a warranty form or tracking number as required. He claimed he sent the knife back but we have no way of knowing and now he's all bent out of shape expecting us to take him on his word that he returned a knife. After Mike talked to him and refused to replace this phantom knife, he said he was going to go on Bladeforums and let everyone know how we treated him.

It's pretty simple folks: we warranty the knives (even from the idiots who throw them or grind on them) but you have to follow the SIMPLE warranty rules found on our web site to get it replaced.

If this young man or any other fools abuse the ESEE product warranty to the point that it goes away, all I ask is that any new versions of the warranty should cover damage of the knife for coming into contact with the flesh and bones of idiots.

Wow ... I just couldn't think of a situation I'd just send something back without first contacting the dealer or the maker.

He claims he called Shon and that Shon told him to send it back. This is not true. Shon runs his shop by strict standards and processes, thus the reason Rowen's quality is so good. Shon knows the process for warranty returns and it is written into a process with his shop and ours. In fact, no one should ever call Shon about a warranty replacement since that is not his end of the business. Becky handles that along with Patricia, Mike and I. The only time Shon gets involved is when we ask him to.

If you're out there man feel free to tell your side of the story. Even though evidence is stacking against you, I'd like to hear what you have to say.

Ditto!

It's dicks like this that ruin it for us all.I say "OLD SCHOOL LINCHING!!!!"(sharpens junglas and gets torch ready)

I can assure you that the few will never ruin it for the rest. ;)

Haha, this guy will never post up.

Not with the pitchforks Junglas' out and the torches lit.

:D

The beauty of the forum is if you do something stupid, you will be called on it. It doesn't bother us at all to lose customers who do dumbass shit. The warranty is simple and has been discussed here numeorus times. This guy is obviously someone who reads and knows about our subforum here on BFs by the way he threatened Mike about posting on here, so this is not his first rodeo.

he won't show. he'd get a handfull of cyber bitch slaps and an eternal ban stamp stating "shun on sight"

Sorry, that was me.. I want my knife now? Please :p

If anyone ever needs the warranty, I am glad it will be there. But I hope the need isn't caused by abuse of the knife. If I had one legitimately break, I would want to know why it broke. If it broke throwing, no way would I want a warranty to replace it.

I wasn't the guy that called you, but I SWEAR I sent in a Junglas two weeks ago. I talked to this one guy who works at that one place you guys work with. I didn't fill out any of the paperwork or tracking information, but was hoping you'd just send me a new one out anyways ;) .
