Warranty Replacements....again

He lied. He said he was not aware of any of the warranty process. When I asked him where he got the address to send it back he said somehwere on your web site. The only place Shon's address appears on our web site (to the best of my knowledge) is ....wait for it....On the warranty form. :)

CLASSIC!

Sad.

Well if Mr. Phantom Blade decides to post anytime soon, I'm personally ready to pounce.

It's dicks like this that ruin it for us all.I say "OLD SCHOOL LINCHING!!!!"(sharpens junglas and gets torch ready)

I'm gettin' all stabby just thinking about it!

But seriously, this guy is an idiot. He's dumb enough to think he can fool someone with common sense. Oh, the world we live in today... :grumpy:

I hate to say it but the fact is "they" do walk among us, unfortunately.

You have proved yourself many many times here to us, your customers (who are one in the same) and most of all to myself and many of my very own customers.

There is never a need to explain yourself and your decisions to us here because we all trust you and the ESEE crew, but I like many others, really do enjoy the stories.

Thank you.

I still think its funny that people are so concerned over a warranty. I have never sent any knife back, none. No matter what happened. I have never bought a quality knife and had it tear up, with out my taking past what I think it should do.

Funny, I like the thought of the ESEE warranty, because to me, it mean we make good shit and its so good, here, NQA Warranty. That's how good our shit is. Well, I don't think it said that on the website, but I was paraphrasing.

Seriously, I haven't sent a knife in that had a manufacturers defect. No why? I don't deal with their stuff again, that's how I fix the problem. Bought a companies folder, it broke. In my pocket, got cut reaching for it, everything came apart, in my pocket. I sent them an email, told them their knife broke, I appreciate the offer, but good luck. Caveat Emptor. I am.

well i'm not the one mentioned in the OP but since everyone is so worked up...

i sent my izula back to you guys without the warranty paperwork :D

granted you knew it was coming, emailed me the shipping address, and had already sent out my replacement ;) hopefully there won't be a "next time", but now i know about the paperwork.

That is correct but you and I had a lot of email communication over this. Again, Becky, Patricia, Mike and I handle all warranty stuff. Shon makes knives ;)

We even sent your new Izula out before we got the old one back.

and this is partly why i blame you for my ever growing esee collection :D

i really just wanted to give everyone a scapegoat to release all the built up hostilies. some of the members here have all this weaponry and nothing to use it on...

Dang, I almost hit "send" on my cyber-attack post that I have prepared for when "the one" posts. :p

You would have been in a world of hurt. :D

Jeff, My Izula's coating fell off and developed a nasty patina. Then one day I noticed this ugly brown growth forming for the handle area. Can I send it back in and get a new one? For my trouble can you throw in a Junglas and Large Pack?

it appears to be shedding or something as well... what's all that crap around it?

It's an all natural packing material to be used when I send it in due to a factory defect.

oh that's good. i was starting think you probably shouldn't handle that thing anymore. with the way healthy izulas tend to bite, i wouldn't want to see what that diseased one would do.

You know...the funniest thing about this is...How in hell would one even know what the hell to do...where to send the "phantom" knife without going to the site and reading the instructions...Right? I mean, I think you guys are somewhere in Alabama...somewhere...Right? But unless I went to the site, got the form and the address to send it, I'd be clueless...right? So to get even an address you'd have to just blow past the form...right?

Or you'd just fucking lie...right?

Great knives, great warranty. Keep up the good work everybody!!!

It's pretty simple folks: we warranty the knives (even from the idiots who throw them or grind on them) but you have to follow the SIMPLE warranty rules found on our web site to get it replaced.

Makes complete sense to me.;)

This guy just earned himself a bigger beating than our knife throwing friend... I think we need to come up with new contest for this one!

Mr. Randall, there is one small "glitch" in your warranty procedure . . . you are expecting everyone to be able to "read/comprehend/absorb/ & initiate the warranty process. Maybe something designed with visual aids needs to be added along with the written steps to this procedure ??? After all, from TTD's description of some of the knives that have been sent back after being thrown, cut with a torch, clamped in a vise and beat with a hammer, etc., you might be asking a lot for this person to be able to understand your current warranty procedure. Good luck to you.
Be safe.
