Warranty Replacements....again

hahah you guys should do a DUMBASS of the month warranty post..pick the most bonehead/funniest warranty replacement each month and post it up here..

The warranty policy is listed on the web site and a copy of the warranty rules/instructions came with my knife as I'm sure they do every knife. It is the easiest warranty policy /procedure I have ever seen or heard of.

http://www.eseeknives.com/warranty.htm
No Questions Asked Warranty. If you break it, we will replace it. Warranty is lifetime and transferable. In other words, we warranty the knife no matter how many times it's been traded, sold or given away. Please note: ESEE Knives are not made to be thrown. They are hardened to a higher Rockwell than throwing knives and will most likely break if thrown, possibly harming the user. So, do yourself and your ESEE knife a favor and DO NOT throw it. Using any knife not meant to be thrown as a throwing knife is idiotic! We would rather idiots not buy our knives.

You MUST complete this form and return it with your knife. You must email us a tracking number and the reason you are returning the knife for warranty repair. We suggest you email us before you ship the knife to make sure the knife is covered since we do not warranty normal wear and tear. The knife MUST BE returned using a Priority Mail box.

We do not warranty against rust or normal wear and tear. Note: Our knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.

This warranty does not apply to the new Lite Machete or our soft goods line. Please view this page for warranty information on the Lite Machete.

A lot of folks have asked us how we can stay in business offering such great customer service and warranty protection. The answer is simple; we believe that American consumers, as a whole, are honest people. The occasional customers who are dishonest are few and far between, so even if we lose every once in a while due to dishonesty, our reputation of great customer service, regardless of the situation, brings us more good customers.

Randall's Adventure & Training only guarantees and offers customer service on knives built by ESEE Knives (Formerly RAT Cutlery Company) and any knife manufactured by RAT Cutlery Company before the name changed to ESEE Knives. Randall's Adventure & Training does not guarantee or offer any customer service for knives that are manufactured by any other company. Randall's Adventure & Training does not guarantee or offer a warranty on any knife manufactured by Ontario Knife Company. Please view the history page for more information.

is anyone else going to be waiting for this dumbass to post so we can jump on him?

There's NO WAY that guy would have the gonads to post up his phantom knife story on here! He's obviously a lurker at the least so he knows what goes on and knows the blitzkrieg of condemnation that he would suffer!:D

if they threatened to come on here and bash you guys, they obviously don't know the forum well. you have a devoted following that will never allow such silliness.

It never ceases to amaze me how low people will go !! I'd have a hard time sending a knife back that I broke even if it was covered !! I would just feel guilty , especially an esee ! If you manage to break one you were doing something dumb !!! A great warranty like theirs relies on the honor system bottom line !!!

Well... I dont see him. What an ass though, you guys do such nice things for your customers, and you get treated like your a bunch of idiots running a company and like you dont know whats going on. Im glad that you guys arent going to do away with the warranty just because of some stupid people that want to ruin it for the rest of us.

Gotta love how we get the company end of the story here. The things people will do to try to abuse the system! Really glad the few people that abuse the warranty doesn't ruin it for the rest of us. BIG thanks to Jeff and the rest of the ESEE team, as he really takes it well and finds humor in these imbeciles.

After Mike talked to him and refused to replace this phantom knife, he said he was going to go on Bladeforums and let everyone know how we treated him.

That's so wrong! I'm so angry I could sell all me knives... but I don't have a Junglas and I think that's part of the requirement for rage-quitting ESEE right?

It'll be a laugh if this guy goes through with this. As has been said he really doesn't understand the mentality of Rat Pack. We don't hang around here just because ESEE makes the coolest knives in the world. We're here because they do that and they are made up of some of the coolest, straight up people in the biz. EDIT: I also don't take kindly to people who deal ill with good folks.

God bless,
Adam

Hey Jeff,

I sent you my ESEE-3,4,5,6,Izzy, Izzy-II, and HEST for a tune up, oh like three months ago and have not got them back yet. Think you could send me some replacements and throw in a Junglas for the trouble...

just wait - he'll repost the pic of the broken knives from shot and claim one of them...

Let me at'em. "It ain't nothin' for me to kick a man's Ass"

"Stupid is, as Stupid does"

Gotta be some other good one liner's!!

I got my lynchin torch lit for no reason....

I demand that ESEE replace my Lynchin torch or I'm gonna tell.

He lied. He said he was not aware of any of the warranty process. When I asked him where he got the address to send it back he said somehwere on your web site. The only place Shon's address appears on our web site (to the best of my knowledge) is ....wait for it....On the warranty form. :)
