Was gone there for a bit (aka sad & missing BF! ^_^) But now back & w/ new sharp companions... :]

I was really wanting the two blade version. But when they became available, I decided that I didn't want to spend the money as I have about 20 GEC knives. Of the larger ones, the 42's are my favorites. Have two of them as well as three Madison Barlows (Northwoods).

I've had good month from a knives standpoint. I attended Bladeshow West and picked up tmtwo customs, three production knives. After blade show west I picked up another custom by the same maker, and another GEC all steel Whaler and a fun huge Old Hickory butcher knife with a 14 inch blade.

I'll have to post a few pics. When I get back to wifi range.

This was my most recent purchase. A modern, locking sodbuster? Sigh. Here: take my money.

Still not sure about the trademark, but it's been three weeks and I haven't polished it off yet, so I suppose it stays.

Hi there Sparkly. Ya know, I don't currently own a Buck or an Opinel. Bit of a hole in my game right there. That 112 you mention sure looks nice.

Last new folder I got, a little while ago now, is the mini CR, to go with the larger one. I reckon you'd like a mini CR.

I do have a new Spyderco on the way, will likely throw up a pick when I get it.

Ooh I love this knife! ^_^ I don't think I've ever seen it before on BF, which is a big source for my knife learning.

You are sure friendly, sparkly! You must have come when I was on sabbatical.

I've got an A.G. Russell medium folding Hunter on the way.

I don't have a 110, but I just sent my 112 Paper Stone back for warranty repair. They ground the lock bar too thin and it binds up the action. The grip on the Paper Stone model is fantastic; it's a bit more sculptured than the classic design. It's on par with the finger grooved models.

I've got a carbon Opinel #6 in my collection with some rust I need to knock off with some naval jelly, and a #7 carbon in my wishlist at an online retailer. I'm thinking #7 should be about perfect for me.

Explorer is my favorite SAK and also of the late Karl Elsener. It has translucent emerald green Plus scales from an ebay seller awhile ago, and he included free stamping on the blade, do I got it stamped with my forum name:

Haha, yes @Smaug I am! :) I'm so excited to find someone else who loves the Explorer as much as I do too!! And I'm loving the green scales. Awesome. ^_^

It is called the "Puppy", and it's made by Mosquito Tactical. Yep.

They have their own website, but I got mine from the Express wholesale site that is also notorious for selling designs that are "inspired by" the Sebenza, and the Hinderer XM. As far as I've been able to tell, this is not a "tribute" or an "inspired by" design. The blade may actually be M390, and the slabs may actually be Titanium, but that's about all I can tell you.
