Thought just hit me as I was admiring this impressive knife, blade finish? Are we going to see polished blades or brushed?
 
Maybe. Charlie's Diamond jacks were polished whereas his Diamond Radio jacks were brushed. Both are Northfield's. I agree with your opinion though as this is a much more upscale pattern than the Radio was so I can envision a polished blade.
 
This could be Charlies greatest knife yet, can't wait for this amazing piece of cutlery. Thanks Charlie.

Looks like these have passed up the #77 Barlow, production wise. There's a bunch of new pictures at GEC's website. That blood red bone sure does look good. I also heard that these will be done before the end of the month!
 
This knife excites me even more than the forum knife. I'm in for an amber bone. This is an all time classic IMO.

one of the handle options is called 'smooth autumn bone". I would say it has an amber tone. Unfortunately, I think all of them are already spoken for.

Thanks for the info Draggat. I am on the early bird with one of the dealers for the smooth stag, autumn, and red bone. Think he is busy mailing knives now. Hope I get em......
 
Can someone please tell me if these will be available through GEC dealers, Charlie himself, or both? :D

Dang, that stag looks amazing! I usually don't like the stuff.... too late now. As long as the dealers get their full allotment I will be getting a couple others though.

Finally a tidbit of information. So the dealers will be selling selling these also. Thank you sir. I was starting to wonder if you needed to know a secret password.

Only some dealers will be getting them and they've been taking reservations. Best way to find all of them is to go to GEC's website and contact the dealers on their list. It's possible not all have been claimed yet.
