Washington Street!!

I don't want to live "Vanilla" Charlie, I want to live "Organic Strawberry" and I missed out. :o

Ugh.....I am getting anxious to get my hands on one. My tracking number hasn't updated in 2 days. Hopefully it's waiting for me when I get home, but I'm guessing it may be tomorrow or later.

Here is a flattened version of the Back Label "rant", for easier reading!
Finished the day it was needed. I guess I need pressure to overcome writer's block! With thanks to my long-suffering and speedy editor, who keeps my foot out of my mouth!

By now, many of you have figured out I have tasted a little shoe leather! :o
The Label should read "Washington Works", not "Washington Street".
Ah well - at least this thread can still be Washington Street. There certainly is enough traffic to call it a street!

My cocobolo is on the way. Shows estimated delivery of Monday, but it's already left the originating PO today so I'm hoping USPS will surprise me and get it here Saturday...things occasionally show up here a day early. But Monday will work too.

It seems to be a USPS anomaly, betting we got it at the same supplier, was told all is good and in transit.

I didn't want to point it out my friend :o

Wow, look what my research has turned up!

Washington Street is a mythical thoroughfare in Sheffield, which local legend has it appears for one day every hundred years. The street is said to be populated by cutler’s producing the finest knives, and some visitors become so enchanted by the place, that they stay, leaving the mortal world behind, to live forever in the land of fine pocket knives.

Legend has it that Washington Street was once a real place, but so saddened were the cutlers by a character known as Nimrod, who demanded fourteen knives to the dozen, that it slipped away from the earthly realm. Now it appears for only one day in a hundred years.

It must be true, it's on the internet! ;)

(In Corporate Boss tone ).....
Charlie, I'd like to see you in my office now please !:D

Job done well Charlie- yet another successful Traditional pattern lives - thanks to you. Amazing stuff.

Pretty stoked that Barry set one of these aside for me. I completed the purchase on my phone on the road home from work. One autumn gold bone on its way!

Edit: 10/24/14 A good thing, too, cause those few on KSF this morning went within minutes!

For now Charlie, for now, as long as you keep producing out those magnificent patterns!

OK Charlie, some of us missed out. When will you be putting out a second round of Washington Jacks. I'm in for one of each of these beautiful handle materials.

A misplaced possessive apostrophe adds credibility. ;)

"Washington Street"?

It's a metaphor.

Works for me!

-- Bang-up job on this knife, Charlie, and all its appointments. Every posted picture causes me to rethink my choice; each of the cover options is supreme.

And those bolsters...
Smooth polished stag.
