I've been playing around with it now for a bit and they are indeed nice, very solid construction. I very much admire the T/C barlows, and these are a step up IMHO. The #77 frame edges out the #15 for me as just the right size for pocket carry.

The postman was ever so kind to me today! Not one, but two new knives waiting for me when I got home from work!

Sherman, Thats not a huge liner gap, -how much did you pay for the knife?
I received my Forums knife just the other day, the Swedge runs off and looks close to what was shown as a second- but its still a fantastic knife and I wouldnt dream of sending it back - in comparison to what I paid for the knife? - I got a bargain.

I love Stag, but the polished Stag doesnt excite me - The reason I love Stag is because of its texture - the colour - everything about Stag - but if someone were to describe Polished Stag" I wouldnt be expecting Stag - any form od polishing means sanding back before the polishing process - so therefore to me its no longer Stag, its polished bone and I dont think anyone should be expecting Stag.
The Autumn Bone looks stunning.

I guess it's contrary to the TOS to say what I paid :-0. I paid the regular retail rate for a first class new knife. I don't know of anyone discounting these new special factory orders. The liner gap isn't "huge", but it's large enough that I can see debris in there that is likely the reason it didn't seat well. It's not loose. It's difficult to line up for a photo, the gap is greater, and longer, than any of my other GEC's. Many of my GEC's have no visible space. The Smooth Autumn Bone example has a very slight sliver of light showthrough. I do have some GEC's with visible gaps, but not as severe. It's the sum of the parts, any single one issue may not a constitute a deal breaker, but taken as a whole? . . my experience had been a higher level of quality control. The pics speak for themselves. It is a great user, and I'm sure I could resell it and get most, if not all, of my money back, even with the "issues". It's a well-built knife, better then anything I can build and I'm happy with it. It's not for sale :-)

Hey Sherman, I have a problem with the usage of knives - it frustrates the hang out of me because I am so fussy with my knives - so in saying that I dont get to use all my knives.
At times I wonder just what I am doing - then do exactly what I did yesterday and buy another handful, with what you are saying - that the knife will be a user -I suspect that that knife you will get to love even more-because you are using it - which is what I do....but we all think differently, and I do respect your opinion, I hope you get happy with that knife either way because they are looking to be incredible knives!!
Keep us posted my friend and let us know how you get on!

This beauty arrived yesterday! Charlie this is one FINE knife! Nice thin construction, great walk and talk, and gorgeous bone, this one matches the quality of anything the premium old cutleries produced:

Nice pictures coming through here. I'll just have to enjoy the pictures because I have too much on my plate right now that if one was to pop up I wouldn't be able to grab it. Great to here about the reviews and see the pictures. It's almost like I'm there.

Off the charts, Eric!! Fantastic picture and man o man does that knife look outstanding or what?!!

Gosh, I keep missing all these new limited releases. I have to find one of these somehow.

Now the real question.........safe queen or user? It seems a shame not to put some patina on those blades.

Mine came in this morning and I am very pleased, the polished stag is just how I wanted it, not totally white, has color and texture. To my eyes it has an antique look out of the tube. Pulls are a 5-6, blades centered, just an excellent well made knife.

It's too nice a knife to not use and enjoy, though mine does ride in a pocket slip. And, I'm looking forward to seeing other's pictures as well.
