Waterjet cutting for knife blanks

Ok, now i have a question. I have 2 blocks of O-1 measuring roughly 12" x 12" by 3" thickness. I want to make an anvil out of it, but am unable to cut it in the shapes i need. If i was to ship you the materials with a line drawing(with measurements) and also draw on the steel blocks, would you be able to make the cuts for me? each piece weighs approx. 100#, and i want to get as much mass on the anvil as possible. I realize the cuts would be alot more than a blank, but would be willing to pay the money as opposed to buying an anvil and having it shipped to me. The grinding and shaping i can do without too much headache, and welding the pieces together i can do also.

Thanks for your time

Mike
P.S. i will draw the dimensions out and send you an email of them so you can give me a rough quote if possible :)

Mike, I can cut what you need. I'll shoot you a quote after you e-mail me. You are not that far from me so we could do something about the shipping. J.S., it looks like you are just down the road too.:)

This man knows what he is doing !!! Thanks David for the great service and very
reasonable price !!! Take a look folks .

So how many cuts would this be considered??

Well I guess you could consider that 2 cuts, but I call it one set of parts. Are you needing a price?

Thanks everyone! Seems like I'm cutting more blanks than anything. Love it!:D

Thought I would post up some pics of Mycarta and G-10 cutting. Does a great job and no breathing that junk.:barf::D

How is shapre determined? Does the customer provide a template of the exact size and shape wanted? Does your machine use this template like a pantograph or does it scan the template and follow it with Cad or some such? Thanks. Verrrrry interesting

John, if you have a template, I draw it in CAD and make it exact. I can print the CAD drawing to size and match it up. Once that is correct, I cut it with the program I created. If you don't already have a CAD file, I can use a template of some sorts or a drawing to make you one. The machine does not have a "copy" feature. I draw every one.

Hey Dan, your steel showed up friday. I plan on cutting it when I get back on thursday.;) Leatherface, I do have that in stock. Just let me know what you need. Thanks!
