Don't we?.....
A quote from Mr Sal Glesser, originally posted on Spyderco's own forum on the 5th April 2003 (I hope its ok to post it here...):
"Hi Steve. We're considering a short run in another color. Gray is the current first choice of color. We've also decided that the design is a very functional design, but the name is lacking so we're looking for a new name.
The design seems to appeal more to the interested and experienced knife user, of which there are fewer ELUs.
The name should describe the user as well as the design (aficianado, expert, anal retentive, obsessive compuslive knife nut, refined design, etc.) And most important, it cannot have already been used by another knife company (so it can be trademarked).
We have a few ideas at the moment. Do you have any good ideas?"
I suggest the Spyderco Adept
Adept adjective, Very skilled or able.
Adept noun, A person who is very skilled at something
