My left arm is still coming back slowly but I am guessing in another 3 months or soo I should be 100 pct. I really really want to tear this up once that happens. I am not entering my numbers now, because it would be kinda cheating. 6 pounds at full arm extension is a heavy rep for my left arm atm. its that bad. Soon as i am more normalized though, I will be on here.
Glad you're healing up, Thorny.
Wow Qeth. I know form is all-important for health and safety, and probably for best muscle development, too. But who knew there was that level of detail in doing kettleballs? Anyway, congrats on surviving day 1!
It was humbling to find out incredibly nuanced things on something I thought I had perfected. And thanks!
Qeth, where in the hell did you get that kettlebell? That's sick bro:thumbup:
Thanks! Demonbells.com is my favorite place for sculpted bells, I like their handle designs. Onnit.com has zombie and gorilla bells, they have larger handles that work your grip.
Day 2 was physically the most challenging. More practice on different exercises. Two workouts, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Plus our conditioning test, which was 100 snatches in 5 minutes.
Day 3 was psychologically the most challenging. Q&A, troubleshooting, and then our technique tests to make sure we have the moves mastered on an instructor level. Then we were observed as we taught volunteers (who had no prior experience) on how to do some movements, and then we ran them through a 10 minute workout. Then we had our "graduation" workout.
At the end of the day, we we called one by one by the trainer that judged us for our tests and given a report on how we did and if we passed. We were warned there was a 70% pass rate. From the dejected looks on some people at the end of their one on one, it looked like we had a few that did not pass. I was a little worried, as I did not get as much feedback during my tests, where as the some were told what they were doing wrong and how they improved.
After my one on one, I was able to breathe a sigh of relief.
I think I'll take a few days to relax, it's been one heluva weekend.
