It’d be awesome if there was also some leftover Magnacut hiding in that attic too.Yellow sawcut 301!!! Preminum steel!! Now we are talknig!!!

I am on a newly formed committee to discuss what we can and should add to our custom shop as well as remove. We have some big plans for the Custom Shop this year. I am advocating for a drop point 112 to be added to the custom shop. @bucksway I have spoken to you on the phone and promise this is being addressed. I don't want to say never but the 300's are a long shot. We have almost completely wore out the tooling for these models and when we run the numbers on the 300's the juice isn't worth the squeeze.
Thank you for the reply Matt, I will definately keep an eye out for them.I did find some yellow inlay hiding in the attic. Maybe we can make a small run of them.
The 2018 Blade Forum 301 and BOTM 201's were built on the older tooling. You are correct a couple of years ago we were looking at retooling the 300 series so we would be able to produce them efficiently . Unfortunately the sales numbers were too low to invest in new tooling. I wouldn't say that model is 100% gone forever but the new 250 Saunters are built in the same cell with upgraded internals allowing us to produce them efficiently.Welcome aboard. So there is a possibility of the 300 series being phased out? I thought a couple years back there was talk of retooling that was going on for the 300 series. That was the reason certain models like the 309 and such were “temporary “ on hold while retooling was taking place.
Wouldn’t some new tooling exist since the 2018 Blade Forum knife and the flat grind BOTM 301’s were made?
So if we want a new Buck stockman it will have to be an import???????????????
I wish, we only cut the 1000 110 blades for that sheath run. But it went so well I wouldn't be surprised if you don't see it again on another model. It’d be awesome if there was also some leftover Magnacut hiding in that attic too.

As a Case knife collector as well, it would be cool that Buck made more pocketknives. It is sad to see things like the 700 and 300 series diminish or go away. But I imagine it is just not profitable enough for them. I did purchase all the Burlewood 300 series imported knives they offered, but I would have preferred they be made in the US.Thank you for the response.
I’m not usually one who questions what a company does because it’s their company and money and not mine. So really it’s not any of my business. I just hate to see such a classic line go away. It befuddles me that other companies sell a good number of stockmans yet Buck doesn’t.
I won’t belabor the point but honestly just wanted to voice my opinion because there had been a Buck stockman of some sorts in my carry since about 1982.

Am I the only one who thinks a Buck rep should be driving around the country in a giant Buck 110, like the Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile?
That's not weird, right?

Can you get the Duke 500 added? Also, How about short runs of the different old 900 series Bowies that the old custom shop made.
I didn't want to give it away. We are starting to work on the next release!Well BKI,
Yesterdays drop of only a few of the 923's (I think the 932 was a typo) was the start of an awesome step forward. I hope the 900 series custom buildouts continue!
Should be mid April.Buck Knives Inc. , Matt, just curious if you have any idea when the 117’s will hit the website?
